“¡ Churro y Chicharron !What an outstanding new experience!!Our daughter took us whirlwind shopping where she shops for her native Mexican cuisine ingredients!!! (This visit for Christmas Eve tamales, carne asada, and more). She was in and out in less time than it took to drive from West Hill Auburn.Bakery and pastries fresh and refreshed regularly.Seasoned and unseasoned meats cut and recipe-ready! Small but comprehensive selection of peppers (fresh and dried) tomatillos; fresh herbs and bulb onions. Masa ready for making tamales!Fresh, soft, and warm (corn) tortillas and convinced me to try my very first traditionally correct chi•char•rón!!!(Deep-fried coarse-cut bacon belly)…try it especially if you like your breakfast bacon well done!)The casual walk of the meat case took 42 seconds to video, now in two clips!I was so taken by the visit that the videos were an afterthought while checking out.I missed the bakery and pastries in the far back of the store. Now you have an excuse to visit and get a warm, fresh, cream-filled churro!!”

“Everyone is awesome food little expensive but is really good. I just got two small hammocks for 66 cents! The little black guy that helped me must be new but he was great at helping me get my stuff. Don't know his name but shout out to you dude you rock!;”

“This is a regular place for me to stop by when walking around the neighborhood. Great place for a wide range of meat products, especially harder to find things like duck.”

“This store recently sold me a quarter of beef. I was highly delighted by the cleanliness and the prompt, polite treatment. My beef was even wrapped by them! I've been to a lot of butcher shops where they just send out crates and you have to pack up your own steak, so that was a really nice and unexpected touch.”

“Ventured into Pt Rustin farmers market to check it out. Asked the service personnel at Owen's Meat what makes their ribeyes steaks priced higher than retail Mkt. He explained locally grown beef from Wa. I purchased a Ribeye cut. Best ribeye I've had in a long time. Will be returning”
