My heart sank when a Quest Diagnostics technician was shockingly rude to me. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon BW’s post below about facing racism during their Quest experience that the pieces clicked. I wholeheartedly echo their sentiments—such blatant racism and disrespect towards minorities. That tech, a white female with brown hair, made me feel utterly insignificant. To my fellow minorities, I urge you to steer clear of Quest Diagnostics 5920 100th st. SW.; the service you deserve will sadly be absent.

Wow!!! Dropping off a specimen that I had to wait and check-in. I was not instructed from my previous visit when my blood was drawn. At the very least, could you give me a heads-up?What a waste of time!!!The specimen envelope has an address to ship. The person who worked there told me that Quest would be thrown away. So, why is your company providing an envelope to return the specimen and telling me it will be thrown away? Please give me this vital information before my day is hijacked by Quest employees unable to pass this information.Highly dissapointed. Quest needs to work on its company policy. People have lives to go on, and waiting for one to be seen when I need to drop off a specimen is not a good use of my time. After the employee took me in, verified my info, and signed in, it took me 3 seconds to drop off a specimen.I blame all on Quest Diagnostic Company. I don't blame the employees; they're just doing their job, and they did an excellent job.

Can't just drop off something without making an appointment. Second time I've needed to do this, and have had to wait both times. SO frustrating!

Was a walk in. Waited for 3 minutes. I went in and right out no problem. They withdrew blood super quick, no need to fish for a vain. The lady knew what she was doing definitely recommend it.

So I came in yesterday after my doctor's appointment and they told me one of my test is time sensitive and it has to be between 7am and 9am. She didn't mention nothing about appointment , when I enquire she said as long as I'm here I should be good. I came back today at 7.45am. I tried to check in it gave me the code 101, instead of the time. One of them came to help me and it still gave me a code. So I didn't really get a code. Other people came in as walk ins and were seen before me yet they they found me here (i did enquire from them while we were waiting in the waiting area). One of the patients that was waiting with me said she was fine if they see me first as mine is time sensitive and they said we can't do that. Lastly, every time i told them that my test is time sensitive, the response is too bad, you dont have an appointment .They ended up calling me in at 8.50am,. This is my first and last time getting a blood test from them!!!!!

I showed up at this location before opening not knowing about appointments! When they open I was the first one in. I was asked if I had an appointment and I said no. Marcella nicely explained that appointments are preferred because of wait time but they will get me in if they get a moment. I was lucky enough when the first appointment delayed to show up. I was in and out. I’ll definitely reserve a spot next time. Great customer service and clean location !

Unlike the other reviews, this place was not hard to find. Check in in kiosk was easy. I was in in out in 3 minutes no questions asked, granted I payed ahead of time with Jason health.

The address is wrong. The directions on their automated system are wrong. The staff at the location their directions take you are frustrated because they are sick and tired of getting misdirected people in the location. No one answers the phone. The voicemail is full. There is no way to get service.

Nothing positive to say about my experience here and I usually try to give every service business some grace these days because of the difficult times we are going through. Making the appointment online did not go smoothly as I given two appointments, neither at the time I selected. Why two? I presume it was because the first time came back as unavailable and required a second choice. Must be some software/computer issue. The lab is difficult to find being tucked away down a corridor with a small outdoor sign easily blocked by parked vehicles. So finding it is a little challenging. The phlebotomist who did my blood draw was rude and clearly was having a difficult day and an attitude that went with that. Messaging on her Apple watch didn't work and then she had to respond by using her phone and yelling to a coworker to pass a message along. She was clearly agitated. When it came to poke the needle in for my bloodwork, she couldn't hit the vein and of course that resulted in multiple attempts her repositioning my arm (with a comment, that's better - but she positioned it the first time!) and wiggling and reinserting the needle as she tried to get where she needed to be. I have a lot experience having blood drawn, since I am a regular blood donor, and this was the single worst experience I have had! She was ultimately unsuccessful and switched arms. She asked if I had drank water, to which I replied not today (it was a fasting draw first thing in the a.m.) so her curt comment was "that's always recommended". I told her I regularly donated blood and never had a problem before (in fact usually surprise the tech with how quickly I am complete). She made a comment about veins getting fragile as we get older... I calmly pointed out that she had an attitude issue and got a snide response. She then poked my other arm one time and it immediately filled the vials. So much for her lack of hydration theory! I know I won't be returning to this lab, there are other choices in the market and I don't need to pay for poor customer treatment. You shouldn't either, I recommend you choose another lab.

Very racist practices from their techs that the organization allows. They allow their techs to be abusive towards people of color & it is disheartening & sickening. The organization would rather "sweep" an incident under the rug than provide a feasible solution. If you are a good doctor please think twice before sending your patients to this lab.

Lady up front was VERY rude, threw a mask at me (i wasn’t aware you still need to wear a mask in the medical fields, that’s on me) but throwing it was super aggressive. My job referred me here for a drug test, yet they don’t do them. Lady tried telling me to go to other places and to schedule an appointment with said places, i said i needed it right away, and she said i was “out of luck”.

So I made an appointment for Tuesday the 8th on the phone for 1pm. Have to confirmation code they request to Check in. When I arrive I check in on the tablet and was told by the employ i don't have an appointments with your name. Even with a confirmation code. It says it's on another date but when I ask what day it was set I'm told they don't have access to the dates. So knowing I set up my appointment correctly hoping I can just be seen or see what date it was set to but no I was just told to make another appointment. The energy I received was "Hey you don't have an appointment so just leave we don't have time to deal with you or system issues"

I was in and out within 20 mins. The building was a little obscured but there's a sign that point you to the middle of the buildings from the back. The lady who took my blood was efficient and friendly.

If you can select a different testing site, do so. They are inefficient and generally skip the check in order, rendering an appointment time useless. I am waiting over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. No explanations given, just lame excuses and flat out lies.
