I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism from the men at this store. I called to ask if a certain product was in stock. It just happened to be a makeup item and the man who answered the phone told me there were no women working and that I should call back later when a woman was working. I asked him, “you can’t look for a product?” He was very reluctant and finally handed the phone to a different man. This man also kept making comments about how he doesn’t know anything about makeup and doesn’t know what he’s doing when it comes to makeup. These statements were not only sexist but make them look extremely lazy. Looking for a makeup product is no different than looking for a hygiene product, food product, etc. I wasn’t asking for makeup advice. I was asking them to look for a specific product. I am extremely disappointed.

Called to make sure my medication was in stock for correct dosage and quantity because it’s on back order. They said yes but due to medication class I need to contact my doctor and then they can fill it. Go through all their steps and waited all day just to be told “your medication is on back order” THEN DONT SAY YOU HAVE IT IN STOCK.

This Walgreens, in particular the pharmacy staff, are so professional, nice and helpful! One time the pharmacist noticed I could get a significant discount from the manufacturer on a very expensive medication and signed me up for their program on the spot, saving me $700! I had received the same prescription from a different Walgreens and they never mentioned a discount program. These folks are the best!

I meant to do 5 stars for MY Walgreens on Hipkins and Steilacoom. I want to do a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE ENTIRE STAFF at this store, for showing up every day with a smile, with more patience than anyone should have to have, for trying their best to satisfy the needs of sometimes an unappreciative public, for trying to keep their shelves stocked with product and for tolerating people who do not respect the physical boundaries set up to protect them. PEOPLE, they cannot back up any farther and still reach their terminals, YOU CAN! So let's all give them a thumbs up, a thank you, we appreciate what you do, every day. And just for fun, if you see one of their trash cans overflowing, take a minute and mention it to an employee. I have seen jerks at the end of the parking lot, cleaning out their car and just dumping garbage and clothes, and then there are the nice folks who clean all the garbage off the floor of their vehicle and throw it in the general direction of the trashcan. Nice behavior.Oh, and the shout out includes the Stars in the Pharmacy, kudos to all of you who keep us healthy and moving forward. Bless you all, stay healthy.

A long time ago when I was standing in the pharmacy with my grandma when COVID-19 was still going a rude Vietnamese guy told me to maintain 6 feet and there was nobody standing around me and that pissed me off ?. If people don’t have anything nice to say to me then don’t say anything ?.
