I am trying to close my account for the last couple of weeks but it's like pulling teeth . My account was hacked so I had to transfer account to the different bank . In that process I have to pay multiple fees because they kept charging me till it's hundred of dollars and every time I want to close the account it's with difficulty because of all the fees !!! Wasted money . I'd find another back not this one Unhappy customer

Imagine using one of their shared branch ATMs at the end of the year and the ATM fails to give you the money so you go to the shared branch and they say contact WSECU. So I do and then they tell me that my money back in my account by the end of the day. So I called because of course it's not and it turns out I was lied to. But somehow that person will be able to keep their job, even though they "misinformed me" and it will now take about 10 days which will push us into next year to investigate whether or not I got that money. But by then my rent will already be doing the check will bounce and I'm sure they won't care about the eviction notice that follows. I do not recommend doing business with this credit union. I've been with them for over six years. And obviously, this isn't the only reason but it's the freshest one that I care to share with the audience.

Normally no line when I come in. Today, there was a line due to the holiday weekend. The line isn't the issue. The issue is the security guard limiting the amount of people coming in. And restrictions are no longer a thing. Why? There were liters two other people in front of me.

I've been using WSECU for about a decade. Often times I feel like this isn't a secure place for my savings.They ask for you to verify your account info by providing several bits of info out loud: Account number, DOB, Last four of social.On several occasions I have brought up my concern that other people nearby are able to hear and collect all that information, and use it to withdraw money from my savings. There is a seating area maybe 7 feet away from one of the tellers, and definitely within earshot. They said they would put a note on my account to check my ID each time I come in. Cool. Except they don't always ask to check it and instead only ask me to verbally verify who I am. I have asked them to put this note on my account about 4 times within the past year and a half. I can only assume the tellers do not always read the notes.To sum it up, WSECU doesn't really do everything they can to safeguard your savings. They are aware that their methods of verifying client identify can easily be exploited by anyone within earshot, and are unwilling to commit to a solution.A completely separate complaint I have is that they don't offer contact-less (tap to pay) credit/debit cards. This technology has been available since 2015. I was hoping that the pandemic would incentivize WSECU to offer this type of card but I have not seen anything promising yet.The good things I have to say about WSECU is that they have a pretty good system. I have never been hit by ridiculous fees that I hear other banking organizations impose on their clients. Most of their employees are quite friendly (with the exception of the lady I worked with today). Their app is easy to use as well.

I love this bank (WSECU in general) but this branch is really nice and clean. Great customer service. Very fast and efficient.

I had fraud on my account. The automated fraud detection did its job! Froze my account. I called WSECU they issued me a new card at the nearest branch location. I am beyond happy. Thank you for the added protection and superb customer service.
