Why are unsuspecting tourists treated this way. Specifically asked if the Pretzel was fresh. Upon being assured it was, we bought half a dozen for the road. Trust me, raw leather is softer and of course, tastier. NEVER again. Feel stupid.

I don't know if I purchased on a Off day, or they just don't have much. But there was SO much empty space and not a big selection. I was disappointed... but, For what I got was good though. And for a Friday 2 in the afternoon, I'd expect a full store. Needs an update too. Too dark in there.

Walked in right when they opened up and everything smelled wonderful! Tasted even better! Friendly people all around, even the locals were very friendly! Great first impression of the town! This will be a “must do” for me whenever we visit!

Dec 22 - Went here shortly before closing and ordered a pretzel and a cinnamon bun they were so memorable I am still in disbelief I had to leave a review. The pretzel was so dry you could throw it through a window after two bites and a work out on the jaw. I proceeded to try the cinnamon bun which had similar traits to the pretzel. Two bite items and straight to the trash, I realize it was close to closing and the freshness may not be the same as opening but this did not taste or feel like anything that was made that day. What surprised me the most was the guy happily sold these items to us.

Just as you come into town avoids crowds. Very good. However, highly recommend getting a microwave to heat up pastries. Oven in use should not prevent satisfying customers' requests for heated pastries.

Authentic German Baked Goods, by a master German baker. If you are looking for pretzels or Black Forest cake, this is the place to stop.

Surprise that this is only one of the few bakeries in town. I thought they'd have more. Pleasant service and good menu items to snack on with some coffee.

Great bakery to pick up some bread. This beer bread tastes great though I have to admit that I have had better croissants.
