“There were about 4 different vegan fudge options. The staff were very friendly, and were generous with the free samples. We ended up buying a slice of the chocolate blueberry and the peanut butter fudge. But they also had an almond joy that was delicious and a chocolate cherry one that I didn’t try. It was $11-13 per slice, but they are generously sized and have deals if you buy more slices. I just wish they had a plain dark chocolate one this time around!”

“Helpful cheerful staff. Wide variety of unexpected, humerous and tasty things to buy in their store. Much more affordable than front street stores. Highly recommend. They even had face coverings to keep the cold off my cheeks!!!”
“Great place! They even had my favorite and they actually had a sugar free strawberry cheesecake flavor for my husband ! He usually has to go without! What brand do you use? He lived it! Thank you. The only downside was all through Leavenworth was no German music throughout the shops. The town has turned into just another sold out town.”
“The fudge here is amazing!! We got the chocolate raspberry one and the flavor and the texture was phenomenal. Just melts in your mouth and it's not overly sweet, it's just right.”
“The Alps Candy Store on the road to Leavenworth is an absolute gem for anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for unique treats. This charming shop, nestled along the scenic drive, is packed with nostalgic treats, gourmet chocolates, locally made jams, sauces, salt water taffy, soft beef sticks, homemade fudge. You will also find shelves stocked with unique goodies. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere make browsing even more enjoyable. Perfect for gifts or a road trip treat. The Alps is a must stop destination that captures the magic of candy lovers shopping. Don’t miss the chance to grab some unique snacks or gifts!”
“Whenever I am in town, I have to stop in and grab a massive bag of huckleberry taffy. The quality is always superior -- definitely the best shop to get taffy in in Leavenworth -- and the pricing is super cheap. The taffy is pick-your-own and you pay by weight. The store is quite small but if you're there when its not super busy, you can spend plenty of time exploring all of the fun and delicious treats they have. In my most recent stop, I tried the freeze dried gummy worms were quite unique. Don't hesitate to stop by if you're a taffy lover!!!”
“Always tickled to see vegan options - and their fudges are worth sneaking past the main streets and into the unassuming hallway the shop hides at the end of. The maple walnut bar and the cookies/cream bar are my wife and I's personal favorites.”
