Hugely disappointed with the City of Leavenworth for what I believe is a bad deal. The sign in this the P1 lot says Public Parking. I nor my husband saw anywhere that there was a parking fee. (Now I realize that they must charge to park everywhere!).We get back to our vehicle and have a fine for $99. No chance to even rectify by given a grace period. I mentioned this to the motel front desk person the following day and she said to throw the citation away, and the city didn't have anything legal in place and wasn't really valid at the time. Now, I get a notice to pay or be prosecuted, months after the fact. In trying to dispute this, I find that my time to do that has expired. Very convenient for them.I'm not someone who intentionally breaks the law. I feel there is noticeable signage needed.Although the downtown walking area was quaint, we will never be back. Not that they care, they have my $102.50.

This town is a nightmare to visit. Whoever manages this place really sucks at their job and should be embarrassed.

Your town is a rat hole ( I wish I could say what I want to say ) I hope I will never have to come back. No parking we even paid $20 for all day parking but when we return to park the lot was full, o well no refund or guarantee of parking, it just sucks to be us. The food is over priced and of low Quality, the service was poor at best In almost all of the restaurants, even McDonald's the restroom are filthy and smells of ( pee ) it was not uncommon to see males and women peeing in side streets I really can not think of one good to say, but im glad to leave, I'm telling all of my family and friends to stay away from this place I will also post this on Facebook as well other social media sites.I also notice that the Chamber of Commerce does not respond or the city responds to negative comments only positive ones but you guys got a tourist trap going on...... shame on you all

Came to visit and did the alpine adventure ride which was fun. Then wanted to check out the german village and had to park at the entrance of town because of minimal parking. Disappointing that the parking is next to none.

Love Leavenworth .parking is always a challenge witch I'm used to.but the parking meters down there know really suck.hard to work. Very complicated keep rejecting cards. Finally got it to work. Could not put as much time as I wanted to own it. Went back to add more time and could not get it to work a second time. Was going to do more shopping but decided to leave because it was such a pain to use the parking meters.

Octoberworst... 2022... I am very disappointed in this town... I am a Wenatchee valley local for most of my life. Saturday night we showed up about 5.. stayed till 7. We walked town.. fine enough.. had brats and a beer. But to get "in" to the beer gardens? Sold out.. how do you sell out of a general admission?... When there's not to many people there. Poor decision Leavenworth. This is a flop. I'm not into the drunk idiots.. but you shouldn't be turning this many people away. There were as many employees and security as there was guests.Leavenworth... I hang my head in disappointment. I guess we are heading to Wenatchee... We'll see what they offer.Pic at 7pm.... Might be a little to wild I guess.

Came here once in 2015 for my brothers wedding. Then again with my family in 2019. This whole entire town is nothing but amazing novelty shops all built with vintage German inspired architecture. You can literally find almost anything here you would find at most novelty shops but you can also find many international items and foods you won't find anywhere else. At least so close together like this. On top of that the local parks and the view of the mountains really top off an amazing experience! Very family friendly and even if your light on cash, window shopping alone would be worth it. Not to mention sometimes there are street performances too! If you travel to Washington State this is worth a stop!

We were at Leavenworth last week. Do not come to Leavenworth if you are challenged by mobility or endurance issues. They have no handicap accessible parking by the main shops and restaurants on Front street. I had my 90 year old mother with me celebrating becoming cancer free. Because Front street no longer allows for parking we were challenged allowing her to do shopping or having dinner do to her mobility challenges. I found a place close to the Christmas store on a side street. Upon coming out of the store 15 minutes later we were assessed a $40 + parking ticket for parking in a "loading zone". There were multiple other cars parked on this side street but none of the cars were loading or unloading merchandise. When challenging the ticket I was told there was handicap parking blocks away by the medical center. This was not a practical solution for my mother. The ticket marred what was supposed to be a fun time celebrating.

Yet to explore it properly. Visited for a day in November. Leavenworth downtown given a feeling as if you are in Europe. Amazing architectural buildings. If you are planing a day trip make sure you come I early as it's gets dark by 5 pm in November and you won't be able to enjoy the scenic view of Leavenworth. We arrived late and by the time we could finish our lunch and head out it was dark. Make sure you are well dressed with winter wear. Though it is cold but do wait till night as they have lightning all over the town. Parking is difficult as usual in any downtown. Even with paid parking lots. Will cone back to enjoy the place
