Excellent selection of loose leaf teas, especially herbal teas and herbs. Reasonable prices and many organic choices! Also a fun spice collection.

Bought lemon grass, and got hay! No smell of lemon what so ever, and I am familiar with this herb as I grow it myself. Brewed a cup thinking maybe the properties would come out…NOPE spent $3.00 an ounce for hay. All the tea blends that I saw had oils added to increase the aroma…if oils have to be added to herbs then are you really getting the benefits of your chosen herb?

This was my first time coming to Leavenworth and I saw this show. I love their selection of teas especially one's from different countries. I came when there was a festival of some sort happening. The lady explained a lot of the flavor combinations of some teas I was interested in. The price of tea's depend on type of tea. I wish I took photos was the tea didn't last long in the house.

Incredible tearoom with a staggering selection of loose leaf and bagged tea blends, plus all the trimmings and accessories needed to enjoy a hot cuppa. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. Very recommended for any tea totellers visiting or passing through Leavenworth, as it is absolutely LeavenWORTH a stop here.

My fiance and I go to leavenworth about twice a year. Everytime we go, we always come to this spice & tea shop. This is one of our guaranteed stops. Today the customer service was extremely lacking and the workers were rude. We stood by the spice counter for about 10 minutes waiting for a worker to come over. We kept looking at the workers (3 of them) standing on the tea side talking. We made eye contact with them and they ignored us standing there because they were to busy talking among themselves. My fiance went over there and asked one of them to help us at the spice counter. When the worker came over, my fiance told her we wanted herbs de province in 2oz and she said there was a 1 package of 1oz over on the wall and offered to go get it. He said no we wanted 2 oz and that he saw the 1oz over there and she said ok, we can only package 2oz minimum. He said okay, we want 2oz. It was odd as they were out of alot of product that was hanging up and he told her we wanted the 2oz. She then told us we can order our products online. She did eventually get us our product. She made us feel like it was a hassle to help us.During this, a family came in as she was helping us. It seemed like she knew them. Instead of telling them that she would be with them in a minute. She disregarded us to help them.It was beyond strange and rude. We have been coming here for over 2 years and never have experienced such poor customer service.

I've been buying from Cup and Kettle for years, and every other year this would have been a five star review. But it's become impossible to buy spices from them anymore.I don't mean morally -- I mean it's been literally impossible. I've been trying to buy chimichurri and carne asada spice off of them for FOUR MONTHS now. We visited Leavenworth in the summer, and one of my bucket list items was to visit Cup & Kettle... and they were out of everything I wanted. No worries, sometimes things don't roll your way. I decided to buy the spices off them online instead. So I waited a month, and... they were out of the spices I wanted in July. AND in August. Annnnnd now in September.I don't think I've ever tried this hard to give a company way too much money for spices. I give up. I'll buy it somewhere else. I don't want to be that guy, but if it's that popular, make more! And if you're not out of it, update your website!

I LOVE love love this little tea shop here in leavensworth full of delicious and some fairly unique tea varieties! The pricing is not over the top like you would expect with it being here and instead I would say on par with any other shop at big cities I've seen! I have really enjoyed their creme caramel oolong, and this go round got myself a few new varieties! I am super excited to continue purchasing teas for my tea journey with them! Lovely!

Used to be the cup and kettle tea shop.Still have a great selection of tea and spices but, service here is a bit snooty. The lady I got acted like it was a huge issue to ring me up and I was putting her out.The gentleman who got my tea was fast and friendly though.Since they took over they ship their teas in plastic ziplock bags instead of the heavy wax lined paper that cup and kettle used.

This is the only shop worth visiting in Leavenworth. You can purchase packaged, brand name teas here. The star, though, is the store length bar of loose leaf teas. You can smell little samples of dried tea in order to ascertain what appeals to you.The lady behind the counter was kind and friendly. She asked a couple questions to try and help me find some good ones and then left me to peruse and figure it out. I ended up purchasing 4oz of Dragonwell green tea.I drink a lot of green tea...at least two cups a day. Buddha teas matcha, Tazo ginger green and China tips, and Numi jasmine green are staples in my home. This tea outshines them all. I am meticulous about using only filtered water, heated to the appropriate temperature for green tea. The Dragonwell has a lot of nuanced flavors under the surface. I enjoy simply swirling a mouthful to pull all the notes before swallowing. This tea will be center stage of my tea counter moving forward.I also picked up some herbal chocolate, banana tea. I do wish that was packaged in paper, not plastic...or at least I had a choice. That said, it's delicious on it's own. My husband likes it with a splash of cream. I steeped some in my black coffee and the body of the coffee bean gave it extra depth and made for a delicious pairing.

This is an amazing little tea shop, I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Leavenworth. This small business offers every kind of tea imaginable. You pay by the ounce with different teas having different price per ounce and they even ship from their online store in case you run out.

Magnificent tea shop with great product and selectionHowever, due to the worst perceived bias customer service today will not be returning. The older woman with the short bobbed hair and Patagonia vest helped two other people before us, we asked for help and she seemed annoyed. After our purchase we did thank her, all three of us, and she deliberately ignored us. We all said it at different times, stood there. She never offered help while she offered it to others And she made suggestions to them vs ignoring us the While time we were in the store.I know every has a bad day, but she should REALLY be cautious with perception and those she helped looked like and my group did not...
