I love this store! The photos and metal art (the owner's friend from Oregon makes these) are beautiful throughout the store. The space is filled with framed photos, leather goods, clothing, accessories and lots of wooden signs. We took our time looking at the items as there is so much to see. We purchased some gifts to take home to friends and some clothing items for ourselves. The owner was friendly and engaging, too. We will definitely include this store on future visits to Leavenworth!

My family and I love wildlife and the great outdoors, and so we have a soft spot this nature-themed gallery. We visit Leavenworth often, and we always visit Jones Gallery whenever we're in town. The owner, Jim, is often in the store. He shot most of the photos that are for sale. If he's not super busy, he's happy to spend time to give you the background, location, and other details about where and how he got his fabulous photos. He's also happy to sign prints that you buy, too. For example, my young son is a cat lover and he found a 16" print of a bobcat that he just had to buy with his saved allowance. Even though it was a fairly small purchase, the owner spent time to answer questions and gave my son all the details about the shot (southern Alberta, 600mm camera lens, etc). This kind of personal attention and service is rare nowadays. If you love nature photography, then I highly recommend you stop by Jones Gallery while you're in Leavenworth. Take a look at his website images -- the site is linked in the Yelp description -- and you'll see what I mean.

Beautiful pieces! And the owner is a sweet man with tales to tell. He will even ship treasures to your home so they won’t break as you travel! So many framed photographs of National Park wonders and lovely displays of obsidian arrowheads and animals. There are fabulous sayings on wood for more casual decor, painted glass vases which light up and charm a room (my guilty pleasure purchase), cards, postcards, golf ball sacks (hilarious!) and more! Worth the stop?

Avoid this shop! My family went in here on our trip to Leavenworth. While we were in the shop, my son, who is 7, was holding a key chain we had purchased earlier in the day. We browsed and moved on. As we were leaving the mall, this guy, whome I assume is the owner, runs after us and says "this young man stole a key chain out of our store!!" I stated no, he didnt that we had purchased it earlier in the day and showed him the receipt from the other store. He said it wasnt the right amount (we purchased 2) and he would call the sheriff and let them sort it out. He threatened to call the police even after grabbing the Keychain from my son and seeing the receipt. The key chain wasnt even a style that was in his store. I started to yell at him that he was being rediculous and a friend I was with had bought it earlier. My friend said she bought it earlier in the day and he gave up and left. I can understand a mistake. This was a $4 key chain that if he had said, hey, can I see the receipt for that please? Would have been a different situation. I have purchased from this store before and I will never give any more of my money to this horrible person.

We walked through this gallery. There are tons of photographs of wildlife, mountains and the outdoors. The photographs are well done. There were literally hundreds of originals and prints lining the walls and display shelves. The main artist is James T. Jones but there are works of other artists and photographers here. They also sell wooden signs with funny/amusing quotes along with some small nick nacks. There is a small amount of jewelry and touristy items. If I owned a cabin, I would buy several pieces of art from this gallery. They were professionally done with fantastic lighting and the matting and framing was also professional. Check it out!
