The resort is lovely and our cabin was clean and comfortable, so we really enjoyed our visit! The highlight was Mirrucha, the resort cat, who gave us a tour of the resort and hung out with us. The cabin had everything we needed to make a simple meal and tea.

bro this spot is sick for diving. Hot cider works wonders for warming up after that cold ass water.

At only 40 minutes away from our city, this resort is our home away from home. Quiet, clean, relaxing, comfortable and unique.
Every time we stay at Mike's we are treated like family. ( Mike’s Beach Resort is a friendly family owned place) and we and our dogs have an absolutely unforgettable experience, as usual.
We see this resort is a hidden gem, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat right by the water.
We are an adult couple with a little dog, but noticed the resort is perfect for families, with plenty of amenities to keep everyone comfortable and entertained.
Our furry friend was thrilled with the welcome basket filled with treats and pampering items, like a lovely blanket and towel. The toiletries and bathrobes provided added a touch of luxury to our stay.
This time we stayed in the honeymoon cabin, which featured a kitchenette and a hot tub – perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring. The cabin is cozy and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy some downtime looking at the water while you zip your morning coffee.
The surroundings of Mike’s Beach Resort are nestled along the serene shoreline, we love the stunning views of the water and easy access to the beach.
If the outdoors is your thing, the area is perfect for leisurely walks, beachcombing, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere always leaves us relaxed and rejuvenated.
We will definitely be returning to Mike’s Beach Resort. It’s not only a great place for a family vacation but also an ideal venue for events like company retreats and weddings. If you or your group are into glamping, you have to check Mike's glamping village. Highly recommend!

Absolutely a gem of a spot. We were here diving and the house reef is really fun. Flagpole is also accessible with a bit of a shore swim but is Fantastic! The tank fills were fast and convenient. Sat nights in the summer they have live music and grilled food. I am listening to the music over the water from one of the waterfront glamping yurts and it couldn’t be more pleasant. We will certainly be back.

We stayed in the new Glamping Village and what a cute area that was! The tents are very sturdy (it rained most of our stay), complete with a heater that came in handy. Fridge, microwave, dishes, coffee maker and a device to warm up water for tea. It was clean and very welcoming. Multiple toilets on site and even a shower. We could see the beautiful water across hwy 101 and really enjoyed our stay. The rest of mikes resort was across the hwy and up a little ways, that part seemed a little hodgepodge but you can’t beat the setting right on the water. Price wise, it seemed to be the going price for anything waterfront in Washington - so can’t complain about that. Great (free) wifi was available throughout the glamping village too. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as well.

There is a super cute and friendly cat I named Britbrat after my feline loving niece. She likes tuna! (Prob he idk)
After getting through checkin (see below) decided to put the positive first. The grounds are very peaceful. There is no a/c so don’t let the price fool you. The two windows on the front of the cabin didn’t cut it. I had thoughts I was sleeping in a shed. The soaking whirlpool bath was the best part. I’ve read other reviews that the bed was so comfortable…I didn’t get that…it was comfortable but not the level they suggested. The sound of the water against the shore was relaxing. The sink has this weird wall in front of it so you won’t get directly in front of it, or maybe I’m too fat, which I am. For the price I would have rather had no ‘fresh flowers’ than the maple leaves they left in the bud vases. There is an abundant supply of samples and I used the bath salts which I enjoyed, won’t talk about the funny smell.
I have to get the weird out of the way first, my name was different on Airbnb because ppl irl troll me online. The owner would not check me in until I proved that I was who I said I was. I had already paid for the room. That being said I guess I understand but really though? My last name is the same and it was still a no go. I had to change my name on Airbnb to my government name which is one of Airbnb policies so I’m not complaining I’m just stating facts. This isn’t my first Airbnb reservation. So be ready to stick to the rules at this resort.
I have seen you reply to not so positive reviews so if that is your intention pls know that I don’t need to contact you or Airbnb I said what my experience was and if you look at my other reviews I am honest and tell it like I see it. Others will have a different experience, maybe they don’t need to protect their online identity. I gave u 5 stars for location.
I forgot to add…if I pay for cleaning why do I have to do the dishes or incur an additional charge?

This stay was a delight! I stayed in one of the shore-front cabins, and had the best time soaking up some of the PNW specialties!
We took advantage of their special oyster package add-on and it was honestly one of my favorite parts! Those were some of the tastiest oysters I’ve had. Absolutely a must and fun to do. We also explored the area of the oyster farm where we could pick Pacific oysters ourselves. We had our licenses and it was fun to pick some and use the grill at our cabin to make a midday snack.
If you have kiddos this would be such a fun spot! Just make sure they have shoes that protect their toes on the beach :)
The cabin was modest and clean. It was fully stocked with everything we needed including the basics for the kitchenette. The view from the window could not be beat!
It’s about 15 minutes to Hoodsport and 40ish minutes to some of my favorite spots on Lake Cushman.
The family that owns and runs this spot is really what makes it so wonderful. They’ve created a special experience and they were available to ensure a great stay.

We came to mikes beach a few time before. Mike, the owner when he was around made us feel very welcome and accommodate to our needed. Recently in may 2024 we went, the guy they hired was very rude. Curse at us because we made noise after 10:00 when the sign said 11:00 quiet time. He then said the law had change last year. next morning, we brought our cooler of drinks from upstair down to the camp fire, the same guy who worked in the office accuse us that the cooler was filled with oyster and made us open the cooler which honestly I shouldn’t need to but not wanting to escalates any more problem. He then said, does everyone has they license, which was none of this problem. Please stay away from mikes beach. Not worth your money
