Unprofessional customer service on the phone when trying to get our propane tank filled after purchasing a home with the tank on it. I was told there was no history of the tank having been serviced by Active in the past and they refused to service the tank. I was told to call the other propane companies to track down who owned the tank previously for servicing. The next company also had no history of servicing our tank but made an effort at providing customer service and information. After we had the second company take us on as a customer and fill our tank, ********************** mailed us a bill for leasing the tank. I contacted Active and was again treated poorly on the phone so I asked to speak with a supervisor. ****** called me and told me the tank was indeed his even though his receptionist checked and found no such record or billing for this tank location. I told ************** was happy with the second propane company and wanted to stick with their services. ******* told me he would have his tank collected and I told him I wasnt going to have the tank leave the property until I used the propane that I had paid for from the second company. ****** told me I could call him when I was ready to switch tanks from the second company and I agreed. I next received a bill from active for $50 of propane which I had not requested nor been offered by Active. Active had added propane to a tank they initially was not theirs and now wanted me to pay for propane from them I didnt want or need. The propane billed by Active was twice the cost of the propane I purchased from the second company who provided actual customer service and information. ********************** practices sneaky business with poor communication and deceptive practices.

Super customer service. All of the associates have great attitudes and are friendly. They are prompt and can be depended on to show up when they say they will. I have nothing but good things to say for this business.

Not many choices on the peninsula but if there were I would still go there. They do gas fireplace installations and gas delivery.

Don't even bother asking for a propane refill from this place. They won't do it even after 5 days of waiting for them to show up. Their pump is broken, so how is it that they can be even reliable to come by and refill propane? Very unprofessional of them to say they'd fill up the tanks and then not show up and also not have any record of any information about ourselves when obviously we called and asked for help a week ago. Called today, they told us they show up the following week to fill up the tank. Screw that!Just fill up the tank yourself, seems pretty straight forward than being challenged to wait a week or two for other people to fill up propane for you.

Still pretty chilly at night and called and asked if there was any way they could come earlier than our appt next week. Lovely lady on the phone was so kind and understanding and my tanks are being filled as we speak! Great customer service! So nice to deal with a business that cares- thank you so much!

Filled bottles nicely, left a bottle to repair value. Quoted 24 hr turn around. No call, no email, nothing from business. I called twice, they never returned call. I stopped by to retrieve my bottle, they seemed not to care that they never called, didn’t do the work requested nor did have plans to do the work request. It was too much work for them to check my 30 lb bottle, purchased new 6 months earlier.

Called a week out and several times before his arrival and was assured he was coming. We also left a phone number for him to call when he arrived. He never arrived and never called to apologize or reschedule. I guess when you are the few propane delivery places on the peninsula you can treat clients to fit your own needs. Would not recommend!

I recently needed to convert my new Dryer from Natural gas to Propane. Called appliance dealers, with zero results. So then I contacted A.E. I., guess what? They said that they would be happy to help me. And they did. What service. The owner himself (Clark) came and did the job. He was Careful, Courteous and Careful (Brand new shiny SS) When he was done he even connected the vent to the wall outlet and then showed me (non tech guy) how to operate the Digital control panel. Clark and his whole staff were just awesome! Thank-you Bob Hammond

They've been great to work with. Everytime I've had a propane related question they have been willing to give me their time. They have a fairly good selection of rv products also.

They're great! I direct at a local youth camp and we use them for our pool and many of our other heating needs. I also had them install a gas fireplace for me at my cabin; they had excellent customer service, making sure everything was done right, and following up with me after the job. I've worked a bit with both Clarke and Stephan-- both great guys that genuinely care about the customer's needs.
