We had friends stay here for their wedding night. The staff were wonderful and allowed us to put flowers in their suite before arrival. The suite was the size of an apartment and beautifully decorated. The cafe downstairs had delicious breakfast options. Our friends said the bed was comfortable, too. We will definitely set up our out of town guests here again.

Super cute and very clean. Each cottage has its own covered porch on the front. Bummer the hot tub and pool is at their other hotel and you hand to travel to get there.
Didn't matter. I'd gladly stay here again.

Arrived 07/31/25 - room was super super hot, spider webs on light fixtures. Used the toilet and it wouldn’t flush, fixed it our selves so by putting our hands in the back of the toilet and fixing the chain. Then attempted to use the ceiling fan for any airflow, but it was loud and obnoxious as it would just making banging sounds. Then used the toilet again, and flushed this time but kept running water which made it super annoying to listen to while trying to sleep in a super hot room. Ended up sleeping in my vehicle instead.

Cottages were small and cute but a little wonky. Like floors were uneven. We stayed in a queen which is a smaller room but the bedroom was super tiny. There was not any storage to put clothing or personal items. More hooks or storage would be great. It wasn’t super clean like the window seals were covered and dirt. Surfaces were cleaned but the place needs a deep cleaning. The cafe close by was really good and the amenities at the adrift hotel down the street was great! Keep in mind these cottages are located on the street and there is a gravel driveway where you park in front the cottage. It was loud, you could hear all cars and the walls are thin. They provide earplugs but we are light sleepers and cottage 1 is right on the street. Overall it is really cute and the staff is super nice. I think if you are looking for a place with charm this is for you. We probably would stay at the adrift hotel down the street next time or look into the bigger cottages available here.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was already going to give 5 (loved the set up, separate bedrooms, very comfortable beds, great amenities either on-site or nearby at The Adrift), but then I got home and couldn't find my (fairly expensive) headphones. We're 2 and a half hours away, so I called and Hannah not only checked and found them (the ONE time I didn't check under the bed), she wrapped them up and mailed them to me! We will definitely be staying there any time we go to Long Beach.

We absolutely loved staying here. VERY clean rooms, with a fun vibe. We ate breakfast at the Current Cafe. We enjoyed the quiche and breakfast burrito. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again .

First time staying at the Cottages and we would absolutely stay again. The location is superb and could not be beat. We loved having Current Cafe right there to eat breakfast or grab a snack, the only issue was the fireplace we could not get to work. We did not reach out to staff as it was later in the day, so we simply did not use it. I wish we would have had more time to use the amenities such as the pool and sauna. We will definitely stay again!

Pictures are totally deceiving. Cottages are small, cramped, dirty and smelly.
The pool is in Adrift Hotel a few blocks away. Beach is also a few blocks away. Our TV was out of order and was never fixed.
We had tasteless coffee bags in our unit, not french press. No idea about what muffins others talk about.
We suffered through one night in unit #5. Stay away folks!

A cute place to stay! It was somewhat small but had everything needed. Clean, good hot water shower, and comfy bed. Dog friendly as well! Wanna visit again.

These are really nice little houses to stay in. They are a part of a larger hotel around the corner where you can get into a nice spa and pool and sauna. The kitchen was perfect for us and our adventures in clamming and fishing. Nice central location to the beach and all the stores. Very good local eateries nearby. Right across from the theater if you wanna watch a movie.

I think you need to make sure there's signs off Pacific visible enough so you know when you pull in, you're in the right place. We stayed in a studio which is sufficient for us, however, there is no place to put clothes. No dresser or hangers. Why not? Also, the 'fireplace' is a wall heater? The on site sauna didn't work. The kitchen set up is nice. However, $50 charge if you don't wash the dishes you use? We just didn't use anything just in case housekeeping thought we didn't wash them good enough. And somehow didn't feel comfortable using them in case whoever was there before us didn't actually clean them as well as we would like. Another blow was going to the restaurant for breakfast. Asked if we were locals. I asked if locals get a discount and were told yes. I asked what about folks staying in the cottages. Nope. That didn't sit well. I like the location for shopping. Not terribly close to the beach or boardwalk but close enough if you're not elderly using a cane. We've stayed at the Adrift. I would stay there again. Not the cottages.
