Chautauqua Resort & Conference Center is a quiet and safe place to stay, especially for those visiting the Long Beach Peninsula or nearby attractions like Olympic National Park. Guests appreciate its excellent location, with easy access to the beach, often just a short walk or bike ride away. The resort features clean and well-maintained rooms with comfy beds, making for a comfortable stay. Many visitors highlight the outdoor lounge area with gas fireplaces as a relaxing spot to unwind. The resort offers a variety of amenities, including a pool, hot tub, and sauna, which are all kept clean and in good condition. The breakfast buffet is frequently praised for its good selection, offering options like cereal, bagels, sausage, oatmeal, and biscuits and gravy—something that stands out compared to other places. The welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by perks such as fresh-baked cookies in the lobby and friendly check-in experiences. However, some guests mention minor issues. The rooms can be small and somewhat outdated, with minimal decor. Notably, there is no air conditioning, which can lead to muggy rooms, especially near the beach. The bathroom water pressure is strong, but the lack of a vent can cause steam buildup after showers. Additionally, there was some confusion about resort fees not included in online reservations. Despite these minor drawbacks, visitors often say they would return, citing the overall good stay and friendly environment.

The Resort was absolutely Amazing. My husband and I will be staying there again. The owner is so nice, Annie was our favorite. I would rate 10 stars if I could.
