I was greeted when I entered and directed to the service writer that helped me set the appointment. He set up the plan and expectations for the day, and called me to update the tech findings by mid morning for an authorization to fix and an estimated time the repair would be completed. The repair was done on time and I picked up my vehicle same day. I really appreciate the communication and explanation and my car is running much better now! Thank you!

Needed a new battery. They got me right in, no appointment necessary. The old battery still had 8 months remaining on warranty, which I didn’t know, they told me and gave me the fair discount. Gave them 5 stars. Quick, efficient, honest.Dave

I've been here a few times for vehicle service, and they do a decent job. I feel like the quality of their service has fallen over time. It used to be that when you'd get an oil change they would also do an inspection of your vehicle and give you a list of all of the components they had gone through so you could see where the next concern would be. Now they just give you general statements like "recommend changing fluid every 60,000 miles" which basically means I didn't look at the actual condition of your vehicle, but you should do that even though you paid me too. Another thing is that when I showed up for my appointment I sat in the lobby for a good twenty minutes before a technician started working on my vehicle, and when he had finished the work and drove my vehicle back out to the parking lot it sat there for another twenty minutes before I had to approach the front desk and inquire as to what was happening before they realized that someone dropped the ball. I hope they can turn the quality of their experience around.

I am so very glad that we decided to take our car to Art's. We were so worried about what would need to be fixed and how much it would cost us due to an crazy kind of scary unfortunate event. Art's got to my car very fast and completed the work in only a few hours, and the price was way bettee than we expected. They even were great with my kids too, they really loved that they got toys to play with on the way home.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

2018 Honda Civic SI (Need a clutch replaced) car has 54k miles and the only reason im calling shops is because this particular job will need a lift as the entire front end needs removed, sub frame and all. Should be about a 9 hour job in a shop. The lady I spoke with on the phone wouldn't entertain an estimate for an hourly rate for labor, wouldn't give me an estimate for parts, and just kept saying she needed the car inspected and diagnosed. I informed her that i already know the car is in need of a clutch. I directly asked her if there was a reason she couldn't provide any type of estimate and she could not give me an answer. I can't speak on the actual work done here. However the front line completely sucks and makes me not want to ever head in there or recommend anyone else does either. There is no reason a customer should have to sell the business, their business. That's completely backwards. Every other shop I called was able to punch in my Vin and give me an estimate on parts and labor and a time frame. I've worked in a few shops myself and this technology is nothing new so I don't know why she wasn't able to do this. Hard to not think she was just being lazy and didn't want to do a couple minutes of leg work. I'm happy to see a local business doing so well they can turn down a potential 3-4k sale none the less! This was a good experience for me. They replaced my battery, flushed my breaks, and replaced my serpentine belt. Not a lot of money out of my pocket, and they told me exactly everything being done and what needs to be done. It’s important for me to be able to work with quality mechanics who look after their customers and who are honest, especially in this day and time. And since I have no help maintaining my car.I just have one thing. I just wish they would have diagnosed the whining and ticking before I picked it up. My son-in-law, Richard was really annoyed that they didn’t.Thank you Trevor and Theresa for exceptional service. You’ll definitely be seeing me again. I wish you were open on Saturdays…LOL

Dropped off my car for a simple oil change and took over 2 days to get my car back. They didn’t even let me know what was going on with it the first day. A little heads up would have been nice since I had to arrange transportation to my night job. Then when I finally get my car back the passenger window doesn’t roll up properly and when I address the issue they say I can bring it back in to get fixed. And since the issue was unrelated to my oil change I would have to pay. Really? First off I don’t have the time to bring it by again, and second I’m not trying to spend more money after all that. Seems like the classic shady mechanic we all worry about just to get you back in the door.

I really liked their work the first time I went there. However the second time I was flat out horrified. I went for an oil change and was told something was wrong with my transmission and my radiator was leaking oil into my coolant reservoir. They then gave me a list of *things that needed fixed* I was in tears when I left believing I'd have to sell my car, or pay upwards of 7 grand to get it fixed. $1200 estimate was given just to find out the *real problem* with oil on my coolant reservoir, when I already knew the problem. ALL LIES! I had another mechanic check it out. Someone put dirty oil in my coolant reservoir, and it wasn't even in my radiator yet. All she needed was new plugs, coils, and a fan clutch. My transmission is fine, and she drives great. Any real mechanic worth his salt would have realized what the real issue was and not lied to me and then gave me HUGE prices for unneeded repairs. That mechanic was just attempting to rip me off! I lost all faith in Arts. I will neither go there give anymore referrals.(I still have the list he gave me and well over half the list was incorrect.) I'm sorry if they don't like my review, but I won't apologize for telling the truth! I only wish my Dad ie, the best most trustworthy mechanic on the west coast was still alive to give that mechanic a talking too.

I was referred by a coworker who was very satisfied with their experience. Excellent across the board. Listened to the issue. Didnt have to wait 2+ weeks like I have had to at other places. Got right on it - diagnosed and repaired before the end of the next day (locking hub actuator diaphram). Great communication. I expected it to cost more than it did. Great experience with Art's - creating appointment was easy, the technicians were clear and helpful, and I felt like they wanted the best experience for me and my vehicle! Even the gentleman driving the customer shuttle was very friendly and honest about his desire to provide excellent customer service. Would return again in the future.
