I have had this procedure done several times in the past. Now, they want my credit card number over the phone and ahead of time plus they charge an additional $16 for a doctor to look at the results which I have never been charges for this in the past. PLUS, I want the results for my doctor to look at.

I think this screening is worth every penny. They check your arteries for possible blocks or build up. My Dr. told me she has had patients find issues before something bad happened. These same tests cost a lot more if taken at your Dr. office.

After a friend of mine scheduled a screening with her MD's blessing, it was discovered that they had a 70% blockage in a carotid artery. So, when i got a solicitation the mail, i thought "Why not?" I made an appointment, filled out forms online. When i got there, (in Vancouver WA) the little room was full of people. They tell you you'll be there "No more than 90 minutes from your time of arrival" if you ask. The people were mostly friendly and professional and the tests went fine but here's what they don't tell you; You'll spend 75 minutes waiting for 15 minutes of tests. Here's how it works; when you show up, the clock starts. You wait until your name is called (20 minutes for me) you go back to a screening area for 2 specific tests that take a few minutes. You're then sent out to wait some more (i waited 30 more minutes) Then, you're called back to another screening area for a couple more tests that take about 5 minutes. Then you go wait some more...I was there just shy of 2 hours because they were short handed and running behind. I have no beef with the tests themselves or the people that perform them, just the way this cattle call is run. If you're going to make people schedule an appointment, respect their time and do all their tests at once. It will take like 15 minutes for 5 tests instead of 90 minutes or more.

My wife decided to give this a try, when she called the phone number supplied she proceeded to ask questions about insurance coverage at which time the man who answered the phone went into a sales pitch, she then told him we needed to use insurance and he hung up on her! She called on Feb. 1, 2022 at approximately 2:40PM.

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. Due to the fact I do not wish to disclose a lot of personal information I will keep this review as brief as I can. My mother and I sighed up to have all the testing done, in total for both of us it was about $800.00. The appointments were made before Covid-19 but the date happened to be smack in the middle of Covid-19. Now we got a letter stating what was going to happen and where to go. The day before the appointment a nice young man called and did a pre-screening, kind of like a pre-registration that you do when you check into a hospital. At that time we answered a lot of questions we also asked a lot of questions . The man was very helpful. We went to the appointment and after we got there we were told to go back out to the front and wait. Now we scheduled our appointment back to back so we would be done pretty much around the same time they said it would take about an hour. While we were waiting in the front of you another young man showed up. A lady came got some basic information name birthdate weight and took all of us to the back. We were in a room that was like a big conference room with a bunch of stationed off areas where the tests were happening and chairs sitting in the middle of the room for people to sit in. A man came out and called my name and took me back to the first test, it was a basic test that everybody goes through. Once done he told me to go sit back on one of the chairs. Another elderly man was sitting out there on one of the chairs and started having a conversation with me about the weather. In the middle of our conversation one of the ladies working there came over and started yelling at me telling me that I needed to put a face mask on. I simply told her that I could not wear a face mask due to medical and mental health reasons. I told her I was more than willing to go sit somewhere else and wait for my turn if that needed to be the case. At this time the lady proceeded to yell at me and told me that I could not be in the facility if I could not put a face mask on and that I would have to leave. I again reminded her that it was not against the law to not wear a face mask at this time and that I had medical/mental health reasons as to why I could not wear one. While talking to this lady trying to explain to her that I do not go out in public unless it's for a medical purpose she kept cutting me off telling me I needed to leave now. At this point I was very embarrassed. I Went and told my mother that I was being told I needed to leave and I would wait in the car. Now this happens in the very beginning of June. So it was not mandated in the state of Oregon for us to wear a facemask. On my behalf I had spoke to you five people and had a letter from this company prior to my appointment, in which nothing was said about having to wear a facemask or I would have immediately canceled the appointment and got a refund. Now it is in August and I have yet to receive a refund for my portion of the test I never got. I did on the day of and for several days after the appointment talk to this company about the way I was treated and about a refund and was promised one. I hope no one ever has to deal with being yelled at and talked to the way I was in any situation. I do have witnesses and currently in the process of filing reports against this company do to the discrimination act.

I was excited that I could talk my husband into doing the Cardiovascular screening with me...I had done one many years go and it gave me a good feeling to have everything turn out normal.....
BUT THIS particular screening session...was totally different...machines were down and those working were not qualified to do any of the blood work that my husband and I had signed up to do when we signed up for the screening.
The young lady said because their team was from Oregon they could not do any blood testing that should have been available in the location in Washington they were assigned to.
My question to the staff member was, "Why did no one call us to let us know that there were problems with the screening/testing ....My husband and I wasted time getting ready for the screening...had fasted and our appointment....that was at 2:00 in the afternoon.....we were told not to eat anything and only have a little water and no more than a 1/2 cup of coffee.....so we did everything we needed to and were VERY DISAPPOINTED that we did not get notified of the non functioning testing machines and the inability of the staff to do the blood work.
Needless to say my husband might never go with me for any type of screening again due to this experience.
I would not recommend this screening ever again due to the lack of communication on the Life Line Screening ability to follow through with what they said they were going to provide.
