Midas was recommended by someone who had a good experience there. I took my vintage Land Rover in for an oil change. I’m always very anxious when I bring it in anywhere, because people are always telling me it needs this, that, and the other thing. But this was the first time in as long as I can remember that no one tried to sell me anything other than what I asked for. Service was also done very quickly, with two techs working at the same time.

What a joke. I took my truck in for service on a failing brake actuator solenoid - it was stuck so that I could not get the vehicle out of Park. They replaced the solenoid unit and charged me $682. Three weeks later, the truck is still blowing the brake light circuit fuse, so I'm in the same, exact spot I was before they soaked me for the service fee.
I also noticed the left rear tail light was filled with around 2 cups of water, something the tech who worked on the truck failed to see while telling me my brake lights don't work. This certainly could have caused the issue, so I replaced the tail light, yet the condition persists. I just called the shop to let them know that I'm still in the same position I was in when I initially brought it in and the woman on the phone basically told me it's "just too hard for them to troubleshoot" and that I really just need to take it to the Ford dealer. She did say, "Sorry," which really helped now that they've drained me unnecessarily of $682.
I will be seeking a legal remedy for this and will enjoy seeing them in small claims court.
UPDATE: I contacted corporate immediately using the link provided in their response and...crickets. This is my surprised face: :-0
Replacing the brake light and putting in a new circuit fuse have helped, but I'm still getting a "hill assist" error message from time to time. So, basically, I solved my own problem and will continue to troubleshoot the hill assist issue. I suspect I can program it away...we'll see...
I'm now forced to conclude that they basically stole $682 from me.

I want to thank the staff for being kind and patient while I was having a breakdown of my own. Pancho looked at the car drove it twice it did not overheat again no problem found.
They did not charge me. Getting my car back and knowing they are honest and not out to take this grandma's little bits of money it made my day after a horrible uncertain morning. Thank you again

Great family-owned shop! We ran over a carcass and the bottom plate was scrapping. We were in and out in 15 mins even on a Saturday morning. The staff was incredibly friendly and transparent on what they'll do on the vehicle. 5/5 would come again for our car repair needs!

It’s a quick lube place. Don’t expect them to have equipment and capabilities beyond the basics, or a huge stock of parts, but they have knowledgeable and friendly staff, and they don’t overcharge. Pancho was great.

Every time I've been in they have been kind, courteous, and helpful. Their prices are fair and the work is right on time and once a lot earlier then estimated. They listened to me and didn't make me feel stupid, or like my car wasn't worth fixing simply because it's an older higher mileage vehicle. The lady in the office is awesome, and was always very easy to talk to and pleasant.
