Good people doing a good job. Unfortunately the worst automated service I've ever had the misfortune to hear. There isn't an option to speak to a real person, but that's not new anymore. No biggy. It's the first voice you hear. It is the worst. High pitched heavy breather. Which isn't a deal breaker as I'm not that great either, but ....You'd think the person recording themselves could put down the sandwich or whatever they're stuffing in their mouth long enough to do the job, but no. They're trying to speak through whatever food's stuffed in their mouth. It makes a person uncomfortable to say the least. After that the other person has a gentler voice, and isn't eating anything. For a place that is very respectable and responsible it's an odd first impression to anyone calling.

From the moment I stepped foot in the door to the moment I stepped out, I was unimpressed. The front desk woman did not acknowledge or greet me as I checked in via the tablet (only option) directly in front of her desk. My phlebotomist, Annette, seemed nervous and unsure of herself. During my blood draw, her hands were shaking. She then proceeded to mumble "oh dang it..." once we completed the draw. I confronted her about her nerves and we had to bring in another staff member to check her work. Completely unprofessional and unkept environment to name a few others. I will travel to a different Quest location for all future appointments.

A tattooed, guy gave a simply blood draw without cleaning area or changing gloves from when he called me. Terrible sanitary conditions. I did NOT see him unwrap a new/fresh needle either. This was at Lakeside. Why doesn't PeaceHealth do something? His mother also works there, and probably got the guy the job. Wounded area was black/blue for over 10 days and NOW 8 months later is causing me pain & problems.

Overall, I had a good experience here. It's a little difficult to find based off the directions so I'll offer some help. This lab is located within the Peace Health St John Medical Center. You'll still map yourself to the hospital at 1615 Delaware Street and park in the parking garage. Try to park on the first level and go to the entrance within the parking garage. Once you walk through the two sets of doors, you'll continue down a long hallway. The lab is at the end of that hallway and there are signs that direct you once inside. There was a brief COVID screening (questions only, no COVID test). They did switch me to an N95 mask and masks are required. Once you hit the end of that hallway, you're at the lab. You can either check in via the check-in text message they send you or there is a kiosk in front of the lab doors. Once you check in, just take a seat or stand around. They will come out and call you when it's your turn. I found the phlebotomists there friendly and fast. Their computer system was a bit slow but it wasn't their fault. Their facility was very clean and they were moving peoole super fast. The lab draw was painless and I was out of there in no time. Then you just head back down the hallway to the garage and you're all done. I hope this helps because Quest didn't give any directions at all beyond the address. Overall a very good experience.

I honestly had a wonderful experience with this location. I was a little put off by the reviews, but Quest Diagnostics has tests that other labs won't or can't do. I am from the Vancouver area, and the Quest down here was booked up for quite some time so I drove 40 minutes to this location and had the best lab experience I've ever had. Bethany and Lindsay greeted me warmly, were very pleasant to talk to, and Lindsay had to pull a lot of vials for my test and she did it all like a pro! The waiting room was clean and nice, check in on the ipad is easy, and they worked quickly and efficiently to not have anyone waiting too long to get their labs done. Great job ladies! I am going to have to come up here for all my labs now :)

There is no way that I can find to call this business to verify that they have received my doctors' test order. I hate that they avoid personal contact with thier own clients.Revision/response: Okay, thanks for responding. That's appreciated and I changed my rating. It is still, in my opinion, frustrating not to be able to phone and speak with a live person. What do seniors who are not computer savvy do?
