HE iS AS SHADY AS THEY COME. bought a car for $5200 that sure he sold as is. which you always take a risk. heres where it was an issue though , asked Rick if the Huyndia Elantra had a clean title. he said yes yes yes. He lied after realizing i could not drive this car causet sucked the soul out of me my step dad kind made me buy it. So first thing i did of course was try to sell it to a car lot in Portland for a down payment on a Challenger. problem was they said it wasnt even worth $200 because it had a branded title...Rick swore it was a "Clean title "so i marched down there demanding money back he called the police on me....I was like for what your the crook. after police basically said "Look we know hes a rip off but he wants you to leave" whatever. so i was ready to accept it and be one more sap Rick stole from.then it had been 29 days still no linenc plate in mail (there supposed to come within 30 days. i called DMV (LISTEN CAREFULLY THIS IS THE GOOD PART) I explained all his shadiness to DMV lady and said my tempory tags in window were expiring tomorrow and i didnt want the tickets for expired tags what do i do?she said , and i quote, "GO DOWN TO RICKS ( I was like did you not hear me say he called the police on me) she said trust me, I RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN WRONGED BY RICK DO THIS PLEASE. she sid tell him if he dont give you your money back or a car of equal value "CALL THE DEALER INVESTAGATOR' ok what did i have to loose.so i told Rick what she said. as soon as i said dealer investigator he looked like he was gonna cry he said pick a car....finally !!see that's how you know he's shady the Dealer Investigator will come in and investigate wrong doings and fine him and take away his business license. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF RICK'S CALL DEALER INVESTIGATOR @ 509 575 2777 TELL HIM THE DETAILS PLEASE. kharma

7/13/23: this is the lowest class used car dealership i've ever come across. run forest run! when i showed up to look at a vehicle there was a disgruntled customer on the sidewalk with "rip-off ricky" signs on each side of his lawn chair. he told me he was protesting the way he was mistreated by the establishment. boy, i wish i would have returned to my truck and drove home right then, but i didn't. big mistake!!! alex got the keys to the 4x4 i wanted to test drive. when we were checking to verify the 4wd was operating correctly the transfer case stuck and would not shift back into 2wd. nor could we get the manual locking hubs to release. so, we limped it back to the dealership in 4wd low. when we pulled into the parking lot rick threw an absolute fit and started blaming me for the vehicles condition. he said customers weren't allowed to test drive classic vehicles. i let him know his salesperson, alex, got the keys and went for a test drive with me. alex allowed me to check the 4wd and it got stuck in gear. the greaseball through his cigarette on the ground and threw a tempter tantrum. i pointed to the guy on the sidewalk with the "rip-off ricky" signs and let him know i was in 100% agreement with this guy's view point of such a poorly ran, unprofessional and scuzzy establishment. in the future i promise to give them a honk and the birdie each time i drive by there, which is often. i can't wait for the day i see an "out-of-business" sign hanging on the door of this place. slime balls to the max!

Do not buy a car from these guys they will rip you off. They sold my girlfriend a car that wasn't even safe to drive. Took her for all her money and laughed at her when she tried to take it back. She hadn't even drive it 10 miles since she got it.

Remember to bring your mechanic with you when looking to get a used car. So I guess that was our mistake. Bought a used car a couple weeks ago and it's on its last leg. Fluid leaking everywhere, whole bottom of car is rusted out. It's broken down on us multiple times. Definitely was not worth the price we paid for it at all. Also there was a large hole in the windshield covered by a large price sticker we didn't see till after we bought it. Guess we will have to spend more money somewhere else.

I bought my son's first car from Ricks. 3 weeks later the engine light came on and I called to see what's up. I asked to bring it in, Alex , the salesman said they do not care it was bought as is. There is a lemon law and they had worked on in prior to my purchase. It's sad there are dealers that are like this. Hence the used car dealer reputation. I have contacted the Attorney General for Washington and will let everyone I know how bad this lot is and how they do not stand behind there product. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!! I'll let the AG's office handle the matter.

Do NOT buy a car from Rick's Auto Shop in Longview. They sold me car that did not even last a month. I bought the car to take my sick father to the VA hospital as he needed to go 1-2 times a week. I am also a single mom, with limited funds. The engine light came on asap. He told me to bring it in and look at it. He turned the engine light off and said it was fine keep driving it. It quit working again. Told me to take it to a mechanic and get a quote. Which we did. Only for him to renege on his offer. I tried a million different ways to let him make this right and keep his word. I asked for a refund. I asked for a trade, even at a lost. He then illegally repossessed my car. Then had the nerve to tell me if I give him the key he won't be going after ME for the rest of the car. The mechanics I took the car to stated that they have looked over many cars by him. They said he is a crook. After looking all over the internet, I see I am not the only one who has had the same experience with him. Don't go here unless you like throwing away your money.

Buyers Beware! Bought a 2002 car with less then 112K miles on it at Rick's in Longview. I drove it exactly 47 miles and the check engine light came on and it broke down. 47 Miles...3 codes and $800 worth of repairs later, I called them to see if they would do anything to make it right. I was told it was purchased as is and they would not do anything about it. I was also told I should find another mechanic to do the work since they one I used had charged me too much for it. Really? Not the way to do business. Owners have blatant disregard for its customers and complete lack of integrity. Avoid at all cost!
