As a US military veteran, they have made it harder and harder to get ANY discount there, I was told today that the veterans discount items are mostly up to the store manager, well they now have it so almost every construction item from lumber to drywall to tools and electrical is NOT eligible for discount, that leaves cleaning and light bulbs right? Pretty much anything that you would go to Home Depot for isnt discountable. I just might have to start shopping at Lowes.

Helpful employees who seem to be invested in assisting you in achieving your do it yourself goals. We've had wonderful direction in paint, wood, hardware, plumbing and electric. At times it is difficult to locate a team member, but once you do, they're 100% on board to make sure that you're satisfied.

Bought Windows and Sliding Door for my house. Took almost six months to get them to show to do the work. When they did arrive they were short the screen for my sliding door, and said they would bring it and install the next week. I paid for the job at the time of installation, and expected the screen as promised. Going on three months now and still no screen. I have called The store and they say its not on them???? I call contractor and he won't return my calls at all. No one takes responsibility so do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. Reporting this to BBB and anyone else who will listen.

Home Depot is CRAP!!!! Their delivery is a F***ing joke!... the local store is NOT the issue but your so called delivery that DOES NOT deliver is the problem. We were trying to get a washer delivered (never have stock on hand always have to deliver) they leave a message that they will be at my house between 3 pm and 7 pm…… they show up AT NOON and will not give me time to get there. I cancel the order and go somewhere else (side note ….saved over a $100.00) Now they are trying to deliver again and refuse to talk to me over the phone. THIS IS GETTING OVERLY STUPID….. do yourself a favor and shop ANYWHERE ELSE!

Rented a 36" trencher to lay down some electrical conduit. The rig worked great, but be prepared to have a pressure washer ready to deep-clean before bringing any digging equipment back or risk paying a hefty cleaning fee...with our sticky soil a garden hose is not enough. It was a stressful and expensive job, but was made significantly better thanks to fantastic customer service from Miranda. Give that lady a bonus!

Kept trying to pay on my husbands card and they wouldn’t let me without his social security number. So I have it then they needed his drivers license number too! What a joke all so I could put money on his card. It’s easier getting it to an account at the bank. Will NEVER get a card through them again and will probably start shopping else where!
