My wife went in to get her dress and asked about the ticket we had received upon drop-off. The clerk did not understand English well and began berating my wife, calling her a liar for merely asking a question.

If I could put negative stars I would!! I called and asked the lady who answered if I could bring my boyfriends suit in that had an ink stain from today and drop it off. I expressed to her I live in seaside so would be driving 1.5-2 hours to drop it off but could come pick it up in a couple days. She said that was fine. So I drive to longview to walk into a guy yelling at me in Chinese that doesn't speak any English waving his hand for me to go. I'm like huh I don't understand what your saying I called is the person I talked to here? He then typed in his phone on a translator app "ink not run out" I said huh is the person I spoke to here? Then called the women named "wife" in his phone yelling at her in chinese and she was nice and said oh I'm sorry to me before he took back the phone yelling at her. He then hung ip on her and continued yelling in Chinese waving his hand before I said you know what never mind and left. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I just spent my day off driving her to not only not get his suit cleaned but to be greeted by a RUDE Chinese man that doesn't speak a lick of English to even understand what I'm coming in for.

Took in some white dress shirts for dry cleaning. They had the usual neck sweat collars which I told the korean guy I wanted out. Should be pretty basic stuff. They ironed the shirts well but all neck marks were still there...so now I'm redoing myself at home and thinking what was the point. On the bright side, they are affordable costing me just under $9 for two shirts.Service: Laundry wash & fold

I have used Village Cleaners for over a decade and never had a problem with their service. If I had an item which needed a quick turnaround they tried to accommodate the request if possible. Noteworthy, all communication has been very polite and responsive and garments came back pressed and cleaned as expected. I do wish they were open on Saturday or Sunday. Their service is highly recommended.

10 stars for kindness! I didn't use the dry cleaners half in any way so I have no idea about their services in that regard. I will confirm the place is very old and run down. But the reason I give them 4 stars and really for kindness I give them 10 stars. So I live in a hotel nearby and this was the closest place to walk and do my laundry which I load up grocery cart and lug all my dirty clothes the 6 blocks to the laundromat and have to bother the cleaners owner through a help window where the coin operated washer and dryers are located for change. I get my ten dollars in change and am able to wash everything except my coat and blanket because I have to save quarters to dry. The dry cleaner comes in to retrieve some clothes from a washer and with no ability to speak the same language he sort of points to the clothes left out not being washed. I tell him I don't have enough money rubbing my thumb on my pointer and middle finger in the universal sign language of money and he procedes to fill quarters in an empty washer and gesture for me to use it for the remainder of my clothes so I could wash everything. Who does that? who has to? There was no reason why he had to pay for a load of my laundry. I have been there multiple times since and always had enough money the one time I tried to pay him back I don't think he remembered me. So yeah they are his washers and he just collected his coins back out later but it was still very sweet of a stranger to do. So yeah they have 3-4 washers in service and maybe 6 dryers the machines are probably close to 40 yrs old and need fixing or replacing but I'm sure if that was an option for him he would who knows what his finances are and the reasons he has for investing money for upgrades etc. But he really is a kind man when given a chance.Service: Laundry wash & fold

Went in about a year ago to get a large number of coats dry cleaned. They did an excellent job, no complaints.Went in again recently to get a thrifted jacket cleaned, and they turned me away saying that their chemicals would ruin my pleather/vinyl lining on it. They had the self-awareness to do this, unlike another cleaner I went to who just ran it and ruined the jacket.Thank you for your service!Service: Organic dry cleaning
