“We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Inn this past weekend. While we are used to the Ritz’s and the Seasons, the word “Boutique” could hardly do it justice. The warm inviting atmosphere, and welcoming amenities, gave us the perfect place for a quiet relaxing weekend. The comfort and aesthetic of the Inn only compliments the quaint lovely town on Lopez Island. Having the warmth and comfort of Edenwild after adventuring around Lopez is the perfect place to rest and admire the surroundings of the beautiful island and water of the sound. We had the privilege to meet the one of the owners and it only made us feel more welcomed and comfortable. This will definitely be a return destination for our family in the future.”

“These are the best accommodations on San Juan Island. We’ve stayed in many of the different rooms. Each one is casually elegant, comfortable, and with loads of personalized touches that make you feel cared for with each visit. The breakfasts are prepared with care and have great quality ingredients and the shared lobby and kitchen spaces are equally pleasing. Don’t look any further. This is the best place to stay.”

“The Kingfish is a charming Inn right in West Sound. The views are serene and beautiful and the dining atmosphere is romantic and quaint. The staff are friendly and make you feel warm and invited.”

“We've stayed here a handful of times. You can't beat the location for the price, absolutely breath taking!! Right on the water with lots of price points and options. One year we had bad service at the restaurant with our kids, this year the hot tub, which is supposedly family friendly, was set at 104 degrees. 104 degrees is not safe for children. After going back and forth with the manager they set it at 101 at the beginning of our soak but our kids only lasted about 30 minutes. Even the adults couldn't handle how hot it was with no one lasting the full time. 104 is the hottest you can have a hot tub, for a 90 minute soak I would much prefer to be able to sit in it a majority of the time comfortably. It was disappointing that it wasn't safe for kids to sit in, despite being told it was family friendly.”

“I have never had an experience like I did here. The front desk is extremely helpful and kind. The rooms have a comfortable bed, cable, and the best showers. The hot tub topped off the vibe. It is quiet and the views are magical. If you need any supplies, there is a little market on the marina that serves food and espresso too. Oh also check out the pizza place next door! It is the best we have ever had. On our last night the manager/owner came by to check in and dropped off some chocolate!”

“I LOVE this place. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on the island. Breakfast is fantastic, the forest room is amazing, and the private hot tub is amazing. Love the smart tv in my room to get to watch my shows. Perfect weekend getaway.”

“Such a great travel experience! The waterfront location, the service, and comfy-stylish room were amazing. The woman that checked us in was personable, professional, thorough, and so helpful. The guestroom was fabulous.
The Bakery San Juan, San Juan Brewing, The Market Cafe, Jima Sushi, Cease & Desist Beer House, the local theatre, and a pod of orcas all contributed to a wonderful journey during the quieter month of October. We look forward to another ferry hop to explore Friday Harbor again.”

“This is the cutest boutique hotel with the BEST customer service!

First, I arrived very early in the day, and Laura was able to accommodate an early check in since the room was ready, (many hotels won’t do that or will charge you extra).

Next, the room itself is absolutely darling, nicely appointed and clean, with a little outdoor sitting area. Some overlook the parking lot so don’t expect a view, but it was so nice to sit in the sunshine after a long flight!

There are bikes and helmets available at no cost, and I really loved the security and check-in process (it’s all automated with codes sent to you - there is no staff on-site).

It’s also in a historic building, and the location cannot be beat! Smack dab in the center of town, just around the corner from Spring Street & all the little shops.

I have traveled a lot and stayed in more hotels than I can count, annd this one is terrific. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I come to San Juan. Everything was perfect from start to finish!”

“Close to the farmers market on Saturday and was at the same time. Lots of cool stuff, the owner/worker lady wasn’t behind the counter at first but when we were ready to check out she was there and very nice/friendly to our young daughter who was buying a little item.. she helped her count change and was very sweet. Worth a look!”

“My family and I had such a great time here! The owner was so nice and friendly, the suite was huge and comfy, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of Friday harbor and walking distance to the best shops. It was also an affordable price. My only issue was the lack of the doors on the bedrooms (curtains instead), which made it difficult to get my 2 year old to sleep in his own bed. Plus, the mattresses were kind of lumpy.”

“We stayed three nights at Friday Harbor Suites earlier this month. We had a family room with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small kitchen, dining area, and family room. It was very comfortable and there were a lot of enjoyable amenities onsite. The breakfast cafe was delightful and the food was very good! We enjoyed the walkability of this location to many places in Friday Harbor. The staff was also very professional and kind. The building was clean and inviting. Would highly recommend!”

“The first thing that you see is the landscaping. This is well established trees and plants. It's like walking in a garden, it's beautiful. The next thing that hits you is the calm, peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. Our room was clean and nice. No noise from anywhere, which is a big plus for me. Beautiful pool house with hot tub. Areas to sit in. They also have a whole house that you can rent out. Separate from other buildings, is another cute, house, tucked into the trees and shrubs. That is the spa center where you can get the most wonderful massage. They sell lovely spa products and they have this most amazing candle that just is the best. You can't go wrong here. They are located right in Friday Harbor, within walking distance of everything.”
