Everytime I'm on Lopez Island I make it a point to eat here. Friendly staff, good door and reasonable prices.

This is absolutely not a resort. More like a motel with a high price. Pictures are deceiving. Beds weren't very comfortable, rooms were clean though and beautiful views. This place could use a face lift and could be really nice.

This review is for the marina:The good:- great location, walking distance to town- nice lawn and patio area, which is a big plus compared to most marinas you could stay at. Also whoever does the flowers deserves a raise- convenient mini market and restaurant (did not try the restaurant though)- friendly serviceThe bad:- the place could really use a facelift, and the docks are in poor shape. The shower facilities could use a remodel, or even just a touch up.- the ties are the thick pressure treated wood kind, not traditional cleats- very shallow, that’s nature I guess but keep it in mind if you’re a sailboat or have a large draftQuite pricey too, we spent around 80 a night for a slip Labor Day weekend. For that price you may be better off in Rosario, or Friday harbor, although the town of Lopez is hard to beat.

Excellent front desk service. Free coffee for the guests. Bonus—they have a shuttle ($5/person) to/from the Lopez ferry terminal. We were on a boat, moored in the marina so I cannot rate the rooms. The marina was clean and maintained. Four stars not five for the location because the ramp (extending from the main pier to the floating docks) is too short for low tide and is quite steep!Nearby activities: Bike rental, see video.Food & drinks: See my review for the Islander Bar and Grill.

Not much to do, a little run down. There's a restaurant on the marina but the food and drinks were just ok and overpriced. The outdoor pool was a little cold for PNW weather. The hot tub was a nice amenity. Town is a long walk down the side of a fairly busy road, and other than a decent bakery, there wasn't much to do. Also, everything is closed during the week. I won't be returning without a really good reason.

One star for the restaurant, it's fine and the house band is great. Another star for the location, it's right on the water and near Lopez Village. Other than that, this place has little going for it. No A/C in the rooms, the walls are paper thin (you'll hear your neighbors loading up their car at 6 am or drunk girls crying outside your door at 2 am), and the rooms are dirty. There were several stains of uknown origin on the carpet and the bathroom had more weird stains on the wall and a bathtub with a very uneven floor. At check-in, we asked for a couple of extra towels, but didn't get them. Checked the box that said we wanted housekeeping to come between noon and 3 pm, but they showed up at 11 am and then never came back when asked to return after noon. For more than 300 bucks a night, off-season, they should be better than this.

Our young waiter was attentive and delightful. I ordered fish and chips with coleslaw and enjoyed everything! My cousin ordered fish tacos with mango salsa but she discovered she didn't like mango salsa. The fish was chewy.

We reserved a slip in the marina and came by boat. The slip rental gave us access to the pool, hot tub, and showers. The restaurant is superb. Just a short walk into Lopez Village. A genuine island time experience.

I wish they would spend some money on their docks. If they only just put rollers on the finger pier corners. I tear up my paint every time. The current whips through there. Even with 5 people on the dock... Still took off paint. Probably won't go back.

The location and facilities which include pool, shower, and toilet were nice. BUT here is not a campsite for average campers who have some respect for each other and look for a nice and calm camp. There was a big group of campers and they were loud and noisy with music playing even after 1030pm until to 2AM or over; even this campsite has noise policy. When I tried to reach out to complain and get some help, rather than helping customer issues, The counter managers were just saying "call 911 if you want, we don't do this" Whole managers had no desires of management and were lack of customer services. Their poor customer service was pretty shocking and frustrating. If you don't wanna sleep at night and eager to find your noise tolerance, I highly recommend staying here.

DO NOT CAMP HERE.Beautiful place ruined by unprofessional incompetent corrupt management.I am leaving this review with the hope to spare potential campers from experiencing what we as a family had to endure for 5 nights.A large group off fellow campers unbeknown to us planed a wedding and celebrations at the camp ground. At this campground advertised as family friendly. From the first night, screaming drinking and using profane language around us and our children. We attempted to talk to them. To no avail.Begged management daily to do something. They refused to even speak to the group and offered no help. This group should have been told to follow the camp rules or leave. But no, they did nothing. For 5 nights we had to listen to wild party noice up to 3am.I maybe had 3 to 4 hours off sleep each night.Shocking and unacceptable that this business willingly deceived us and took our money wit no apology or acknowledgment. We assume that most likely they personally knew this group and helped organize and knowingly ruined all the other campers hard eared break.I had to drive 9 hours home being severely sleep deprived with my child in the car.Our group never acted badly or engaged with this aggressive group besides asking them politely to please be considerate. It only made them worse. My last night I tried to take a sunset photo and a young woman stood in front off my camera and gave me the middle finger with my child next to me.Even going to the wash rooms we had to walk among big cooking pots that was not safe and was glared at for daring to walk through “their” space.I have never I countered such a disgusting group off selfish people in my 30 years of camping all over the world. At the end I hold the owners responsible. They decided it’s ok to spoil a special camping week for us and take money for it in the same time.

Poor noise control resulting in poor quality sleep: Though the resort is in a beautiful setting I will not recommend this for family vacations. The resort staff allowed a wedding group to be super loud till early mornings every night ..4 nights in a row so far. Their only response to my complaints were that they were in the process of printing “Quiet time signs” and that we should call 911. Sadly the fact that they made money out of this group were far more important than the quality of our stay (4 families) or safety of the resort/island . This rowdy, drunken group of people left their gas fire place on throughout the night after they went to bed (finally around 3am)… the island has a “no fire ban” due to being extremely dry and high fire risk.
