“It's hard to find good thrift stores in island communities. So it's always a surprise to find something like this. And it supports the community. I'm not sure if the service providers are volunteers, but it has that vibe of kindness from the people working there. One of the senior customers had trouble paying with a credit card and the friendly staff has the patience to teach the person how to use the machine etc. It was really nice to see the support of patient education that supports autonomy.”
“I was on the island for a visit and in the mood for some thrifting and antiquing. This place has both! Give yourself a couple hours to dig and wander, and DO NOT skip out on the upstairs room where they keep the collectibles (you have to ask to be taken up there). On top of the fun I had and the cool things I found, the money couldn't be going to a better cause. Not only are they keeping things out of the nearby landfill, but they are also using the profits to give back to the community through things like scholarships for local youth. ?”

“Small and friendly thrift shop. Only one on the island I'm aware of. Be prepared to stand in line outside if it's a busy day. They have an occupancy limit. You will find some treasures and be prepared to check out on island time.”
