This is the only store to visit when you're shopping for snack foods, bread, breakfast cereal, etc. Generally their staples are priced competitively, but when I'm stocking up for kid's lunchboxes and quick breakfast, I stop here first. On occasion they have great bargains on cheese, soda, bottled beverages, etc, but I will almost always skip the produce section and get mine next door at Safeway.

Situated next to the Lynden Safeway, I usually shop first here, then go to Safeway for anything I couldn't find. Each has rather different offerings. The Grocery Outlet's variety and prices are excellent value for your hard earned money. Every visit I notice happy Canadian customers commenting on the reasonable prices.

The cashier was such a sweetheart! She thanked my friend who paid by name and told her to have a great day. As we were getting ready to leave, she asked my name and thanked ME by name and told me to have a beautiful day! It was a great experience overall and I would recommend making the trip out to Lynden as opposed to shopping at the BGO.
