“Well stocked with gardening supplies and so much more can not list it all. From seasonal decor to farm supplies. Friendly staff, clean organized store a must visit even just to get to know all they have there”
“Friendly staff, great feed, good products and very active helping those in the community.
Best local made chicken feed around and very knowledgeable employees”
“I had such a great experience at CHS Ferndale’s garden center! I loved being able to walk through and see such a huge variety of plants — it honestly felt more like strolling through a beautiful garden than shopping. Everything was well cared for and inspiring to look at. Lisa was incredibly helpful while I was looking around and made the whole experience even better.”
“So yellow onion sets have been particularly difficult to find here in 2024. Made two stops in Lynden so it was off to Laurel they didn't have them either.I gave em 4 stars as they haven't failed me in the past. Omitting one for this year.”
“I don’t visit this store often. It’s very clean and organized, with great customer service. An extra shout out to Dwayne for his friendly, fun, cheeky, excellent customer service.”

“A beautiful nursery experience. The customer service is AMAZING! They are always friendly and willing to help me trouble shoot and brainstorm my landscaping needs and challenges. They have helped me solve many issues I have shared with them. They have a great selection of plants. Unlike many of the plants (annuals & perennials) I’ve purchased from big box stores, VanderGiessen’s plants thrive.”
