Not sure why this place gets good reviews. The staff are incredibly rude.

Even though this is mainly Russian food, and Russia has a *strong* Asian history it shouldn't just throw away in full I will say THEY DO HAVE EXCELLENT GERMAN BREAD. I really recommend the German bread they advertise. They did a great job with the bread and it is very warm now most days. They get the German bread, I am happy to report. That said, they are surrounded by construction so be sure to support them as development is under way. It's a bad thing until all the people start coming in once the new transportation structures are built.

Last night they sold moldy Napoleon cake slice to my husband and 4 years son. Luckily I found mold before my son tried it. Why would you sell it if you knew it was an old piece of cake?!!! Very disappointed with this store.

Our favorite Russian store in the area. Great selection and practically no expired merchandise.

This was a convenient detour from I-5N, then head west from the 44th Ave W exit. I just had to drive around and approach from the back due to the current construction in proximity (8/14/23). I have visited similar stores in North Seattle and Shoreline, but this one seems to be much more Russian focused and has a wider selection of kvass, sweets, teas, and coffees. During this first visit, I purchased a smaller frozen loaf of Lithuanian rye bread, some cheese slices, chocolate wafers, and a Russian version of Nutella. I was the lone customer during this initial visit, but then eventually there were other individuals and family groups onsite. It was good to see that this spot had their regulars and with their usual requested deli items. It'll be fun to bring The Homie here during the upcoming academic year, as he will be studying first year Russian at the university. Nice find to add to my other stops, European Foods in North Seattle and Euro Deli Lakomka in Shoreline.

Mostly Russian food (for example, the kvas they carry is now almost exclusively made in Russia with few alternatives). Because of this, we now shop here less frequently, preferring stores that carry a greater assortment and variety of European foods. Plus one star for friendly, courteous service. Plus one star for removing the Kremlin from their signage out front.

Mostly Russian stuff but by far has the biggest selection of imported goods I've seen in any of the stores in the Seattle area. Really enjoyed browsing here

This is one of the most well-stocked European food stores I've been to. They have a variety of brands for each item like pelmenis, lots of different baked goods, chocolates, teas, kompot and really anything you can think of. I also found spices and items for Kazakh and Uzbek cuisines, which is so rare, Plov, Lagman, Beshbarmak.

Such a great find! The beet salad, potato salad & fresh German Bread baked daily are my favorites. The German bread has the right consistency and the loaf is not too heavy at all. The salads are prepared to perfection, I really enjoy how the beets are shredded and the potato salad are cut into very small pieces which is very different from your traditional potato salad. All in all great salads, taste & texture. These items are great for thanksgiving side dishes or regular sides to your dinner or lunch. If you are planning a quick outing in the summer they are great to take on a picnic, friends gathering, hiking, or beach day! They do have many other items, you can also get deli meats & lots of great Euro items that could be harder to find in traditional grocers!

Better selection than other European stores. If you're from Eastern Europe, there is chance you'll feel nostalgic about some items...
