They sold me a game! It was the one I wanted! It was in great condition for being used! The staff was friendly, talked to us about cool things, and invited us to come back and reserve their gaming space in the back! Slightly higher prices than the internet (duh) but wouldn't you rather support a cool local store than some soulless corporation?Don't come if you're a neat freak! It's cozy af if you don't mind awesome video game clutter!

They carry product they have no knowledge of. I came in looking for some specific packs of cards. I had to ask the lady behind the counter to show me some packs I could see sticking out of a cardboard box. They weren't even displayed, but she had packs of Brilliant stars. She offered to sell me them for ten dollars a piece, 200% of market price. The whole time she was going on about her OCs. It was generally an awkward and cumbersome conversation.Take more time learning about your product, and less time drawing OCs.

Never open, I don't understand how they are still able to keep the business going.

I've stopped by a few times when they say they are "open today" but see the door locked and closed. Ive made my attempts to stop in so I can give a review, but how can you stop in if they are closed when they are listed to be open?

"I typically don't like to be overly critical in my reviews, but I had a disappointing experience at this shop today. The staff made the mistake of quoting me GameStop's price before revealing the amount they were willing to offer me. As someone familiar with GameStop's reputation for taking advantage of gamers, I have a strong dislike for the company. Also why they're failing and headed towards bankruptcy. To make matters worse, this shop added an extra two to three dollars on top of GameStop's already low prices. It was a double insult to me. I can easily sell one of those games for $50 on the Facebook marketplace, yet they wouldn't even offer me half of that for six games. If I recall correctly, GameStop is currently not accepting trades or purchasing items due to their financial troubles. While this information might have changed since I last read about it, I don't believe much has improved for them in the long run.Unfortunately, this seems to be a common trend among game shops nowadays. They fail to recognize that customers can see the prices at which they resell the games they purchase. More often than not, they resell these games at almost retail prices, while only offering me a fraction of that value. It's truly insulting. Furthermore, the absence of any room for negotiation brings them closer to the corporate America stereotype, which doesn't sit well with gamers like me.Usually, I would give them an average review. However, this time, they only offered me around $20 for six games. Ironically, during my walk home, I managed to sell two of those games for three times the amount they offered. It's high time game shops step up their game.I understand profit margins and that they can't offer full value, but insulting customers with corporate America prices will cost them loyal business. As a result, they'll miss out on any future sales I would have made with them."

Pretty good selection of old games and reasonably priced when compared to the current market. They really should organize their store, though ;)

They are not open when they say they are. Their phone number goes to a voice-mail that has nothing listed. Very disappointing.

This business does not care about its customers. One of the worst shopping experiences. Un reliable hours, the inside of the shop is a complete mess. It looks like they just threw everything everywhere. The products are overpriced, smell and are disgusting. They had someone working there that didn't even know how to calculate sales tax. This store is a joke. It will probably shut down like the other 2 Game-Xplosions in the area.Go order online at Gamestop, Amazon, another castle, Craigslist....anywhere but here. Absolute huge waste of time and money.
