We have used the repair department for many years for several different instruments. Our last repair was not completed as requested and we were told we had to pay for another part the repair person broke while installing. We received much lower quality strings than we paid for and what we were told would take 10 days took over a month. We are looking for a new repair place.

Other than some shredder with a hearing problem overtaking the guitar section it was good. Nice selection and staff was courteous and helpful

This is a great guitar center! The techs and their guitar specialist Smitty are amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They typically have what I am looking for in stock and their selection is amazing. They offer guitar lessons too. Check it out!

The management and associates here at this location are dog shit. Terrible customer service and when dealing with a manager, they clearly don't care.I wrote about it again because it said I didn't finish the review so here ya go.

I had a issue with my guitar and Smitty figured it out quickly. Cool guy and super nice. Staff is friendly and well informed. I started lessons with Todd and learning a lot. Love this store.

I love to shop and wander at this store. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable, especially the guitar tech smity. Very nice guitar tech and gave my daughter advice on her guitar journey, and her guitar teacher Paul is fantastic at teaching. Because of Paul, my daughter is learning stuff I would’ve never imagine to hear from her.

Having visited this shop a few times, I can say that all the staff really love guitars, and are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and experience. Sometimes this does result in waiting a little longer for assistance, but I truly appreciate the care they put into customer service, and it’s why I’ll be returning. It’s not necessarily a shop that you’ll be in and out of quickly, but I love hearing the conversations the staff have with other customers about their instruments. So much good energy. Had a guitar repaired here, and Jim at the repair counter demonstrated master craftsmanship and an exceptional level of care and courtesy, the kind of service that these days can be quite uncommon. Highly recommend visiting this store for anyone who loves guitars.

I came to this store 2 days ago. My visit was memorable that I need to write great recognation for 2 staff there! My son & I came to find electric guitar. We have zero knowledge about it, so thought we stopped by and asked questions. The first staff (tall guy), I wish I catched his name, was very friendly & welcoming. He explained some stuff that I need to know. When the time he needed to leave the store, he came to us, and mentioned he will leave but he communicated with other staff to help me. He didn't have to tell me that he was leaving, but he did! Awesome service there! While the other employee was still in the middle of transaction, the store manager, Scott, came out from the office & approached us. He is AMAZING! He explanained even more details, without making us feel bad or dumb. He was not only telling us the guitar differences, but he also demonstrated what guitars & amps can do with different type of music he played. We received lots of information in a short period of time. Seriously, I wish the company sees these 2 guys and gives special recognation in what they do for giving extra miles for their customers.

Bought several instruments from GC. Fine place and I've worked with decent people there.. Except past 2 experiences in Lynnwood leave a bad taste for me.. When I was looking at a bass, the pickguard had obviously had someone thrashing on it - and when I asked "Is this a used bass?" The most condescending a-hole rep responded with: "well, if it was used, the way you would know is there would be a sign on it that says 'used'.." what a prick.. To top it off - yesterday I went to buy ANOTHER bass.. I brought in a trade, and to my surprise, they turned me (and two other customers in the store) away.. YOU ARE LITERALLY TELLING CUSTOMERS TO LEAVE THE STORE. This is a terrible business practice when your company depends on customer trades and they're specifically connected to new sales.. I went down to the Roosevelt center and was immediately helped. The nice staff there took the trade, and I ended up dropping 3k on the same day I was turned way at Lynwood. You know it would be a lot easier to "staff" and run your store if you don't have customers. So they limit trades to wed-Saturday.
