My fiancé Dan and I have been staying here off and on for the last year when we come back to see family. We now are calling this our home away from home right now as we are still looking for permanent housing after moving back from Las Vegas. The entire staff has made it very comfortable for us here. Monica at the front desk is amazing! She is always making sure we are taken care of and keeps the coffee hot and fresh and bakes hot fresh chocolate chip cookies every evening! The manager Julian has also been very accommodating and makes us feel very welcome. Great staff and VERY clean hotel from the lobby to the rooms! Thank you Lynnwood staff for keeping us comfortable!TaDa

I travel for work & I stay here a lot. Staff is very friendly & always gives me a nice welcome. Rooms are nice size & fairly up to date. They are always clean & kept up with. They do have daily house keeping as well. The free breakfast is adequate with eggs, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, yogurts, pancakes, cereal& fruit. Area is nice I am a fan of Lynnwood area. You are close to shopping at Alderwood mall & restaurants. Everything from cheese cake factory to chic filet. You have a Whole Foods & Nordstrom rack within walking distance as well. I will continue to stay here.

On arrival, there was a note stating that due to "Staff Shortage" there would be no housekeeping on the first night of our stay. There was also no housekeeping on nights 2, 3, and 4. We were told we could come down and get dry towels. It would have been nice if management made an effort to apologize for its problems.

Zero stars, they charged me $250 dollars for something I didn't do. I will be contacting a lawyer a suing this hotel, the manger has a bad attitude I will never be staying at this establishment again. I do not recommend staying here, he charges you fees based off of how you smell and it is unacceptable.

Wonderful 3 night stay last July. From Check In to Check Out, we had a 5 Star experience. There was plenty of parking so that was not an issue. The location was terrific. No one was loitering around the property or area so it felt very safe. Although, the hotel was not in Seattle, it was close enough. Just jump on the interstate close by, and in 15 minutes you are in downtown Seattle.Staff did a great job. Folks at the front desk area were courteous and professional. For the continental breakfast, the staff kept all the food fresh and area clean. The entire dining area, lobby, and hallways were in great shape. Our room was terrific. Every thing worked!! The bed was so comfortable!! Made it difficult to leave the room cause we just wanted to sleep in. Well, whenever we need a hotel near Seattle....this Holiday Inn Express will be the one we stay at. Thank you for a wonderful 3 night stay!!

The location is close enough to the freeway for good access but not close enough to keep you awake all night. There's a Bartells across the Street and Whole Foods is a couple blocks away. The building sits off the road and up on a hill. It has five stories & the top floors have good views of the Olympics from the west facing rooms. The pictures here on yelp do it no justice because it's been completely remodeled. Bright inviting lobby, clean well stocked breakfast area, back door behind the front desk it's just a few steps to the elevator. There's an ice machine on the second and fourth floor. The rooms are large and very well designed. The desk /TV/seating/closet unit is very well thought out and handy. The coffee station has its own little nook instead of being stuck in the bathroom (which I think is gross.) My king size room was also equipped with a large sette and ample lighting. A king size bed was very comfortable as well. The wall thermostat did a good job of keeping the room exactly temperate without a large loud heater coming on and off all night. The window coverings are very thick shades not tacky curtains and liners. So the room is truly blocked out while you're trying to sleep.I lived in this area for over 25 years and now come back very frequently for visits. I can tell you I've stayed in almost every hotel in Lynnwood and this one is the best for all the reasons above. There wasn't one single thing wrong with it in my opinion. The staff was nice enough. And the last thing I wanted to mention is that the windows in the rooms all open a couple inches which for me is crucial. I feel claustrophobic in the hotel rooms with outside windows that are sealed.

Nice hotel with nice staff. The room was clean. Everything was in order. Only complaint is continental breakfast ended at 930am instead of 10am. I went down between that and missed it.

I've always wiped down everything prior to COVID, but more so now. I didn't feel that the rooms were sanitized especially the bathrooms. The bathroom floors seemed as if it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Also the elevator and the highly touched places (elevator, etc.) didn't seemed sanitized. Our room didn't have towels and soap. It wasn't ready as requested for early check in and when we returned at the regular time it still wasn't ready. It was a full day of traveling and it would have been nice to have everything set. We have been HG Premier Club Members for sometime now.Breakfast was grab and go (understandable because of COVID), but there wasn't much selection and staff didn't restock the refrigerator. Every time I went to get coffee there was no regular coffee only decaf. One concern I do have is that a staff member entered my room because I know soap wasn't in my bathroom when I first checked in and when I returned from dinner it was on my sink.Overall the staff was very friendly. I did overhear another guest complain to the General Manager about her room being dirty.

There's a reason this place is a cheap please to stay. Their pool is freezing cold, the gym is very small. They no longer have a hot tub. We were looking for a nice weekend get away to swim and enjoy the city. But the pool was a huge let down! Also make sure you call 1 week ahead to make the pool and gym reservations. The walls were also paper thin and you could hear your neighbors very well. It's also right next to a busy street. Every time some one else's door shut it shook the wall to our room. Nevertheless it's ok for the cost you're paying. For my celiac and gluten free readers; they had your typical hotel room breakfast, bananas and apples and packaged yogurt. They did not offer anything else which was gluten free.
