I was a member of Besthour Kickboxing in Federal Way until the business was purchased by FitTheorem. Since that time of purchase, I can tell you that after being under Besthour, the business has gone downhill and downhill very rapidly. It is unbelievable how quickly the best instructors and Kickboxing around the Puget sound left. The quality of instruction today is weak at best. There are no more quality instructors in federal way. There is no order. The place has become dirty and unkempt. Even though I like the existing structures personally they are not good instructors. I have been going to this gym for over 3 1/2 years, so I feel I can speak truthfully about what I see and feel. Although I am still a member, I am likely going to cancel soon. I can no longer take it. It has been pulling teeth to get scheduling right through their app. It crashes all the time. On Friday early afternoon I called the Kent location and the Federal Way location to ask what was the last class on Friday. No one even until this day as even called me back. There used to be order in the class. For example, when the class ended, people would wipe down their bags and put them straight with the label toward the door. That no longer exist. One of my last classes I took I was the only one to clean the bag. There is no recognition of the possibility of staff infection, or some other Disease. Safety is not practiced. The classes used to be lively, but no more. Classes used to be filled and the last few I have attended two and three people are in the class! I would bet bottom dollar that in the next six months due to many people quitting they will not be in business. The expectation for me is if you paid nearly $2500 a year for a gym you should be able to get $2500 worth of value and work out with proper instruction. Last a few weeks ago, a gentleman called me who purported to say that he understood my feelings when I complained similarly to what I have already written. He posted that he worked at LA Fitness and understood how to run a gym and informed me to trust him, because there will be good changes made in the very near future. Well, I can tell you that it does not exist! This does not exist! I cannot recommend this gym to anyone! I miss the old days with top instructors!

I completed a six week challenge and had just as much fun as I had results. I made friends, I learned a lot about nutrition, and I gained 4 lbs of lean muscle mass and burned 7 lbs of body fat. It's so great to step on the InBody scale every week to see specific metrics of how these workouts are improving my health. I highly recommend FitTheorem in Lynnwood! #MISSION2FIT #M2FITTCHALLENGE#M2FITTOdyssey

Big clean gym. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. If I have a question about equipment or anything they are more than happy to walk over and show you. No pushy sales.

I know longer endorse Fitt Thoerem corporation fitness studios. Super sad to share I have given my cancellation notice. The amazing community that supported each other for years is dissolving as the new owner/management continues to destroy what was once awarded the best fitness studio in Kent and Federal Way.Not sure where I will find such a connected community or the most genuine coaches ever BUT it seams Fitt Theorem prefers a “Toxicity model” of bashing their staff and clients. I patiently played devils advocate for a positive transition, until numerous screenshots were shared of their current management privately message others, cancelling members who complain and even lying in messages. We are all sad to leave but we have “Fighter spirit blood” and we plan to find a new community together.Don’t go to FT unless you like to pay money, drive to class and find out it’s cancelled.

This is coming from a place of experience with the Lynnwood location, the treatment of their employees, and as a customer.Cons:The 6 week program costs you 800$. If you don't make the challenge, you might get a discount for a year commitment. If you do meet the challenge, take your 800 and run to a better program. If you see that you have a medical condition and can't keep the year long commitment, they will continue to charge you $100+ until you get every specific contract necessity. Be warned that corporate doesn't provide responses for over 3 weeks.Employees come and go due to treatment and seniority. Trainers are great but management and franchise owners are very particular. They don't have consideration or the mental withal to know when late is or what your mental health is. They will call you out on speaker for being "late" and giggle at you. This isn't all the trainers, this is the manager. So, if you can't take the heat or humility, don't come here. There are employees are gone because of lack to flexibility for their own mental health or personal pursuits for their personal and career growth.Their partnership items, (protien and celuis), can be costly, but doesn't show fulfilling benefits. Additionally, these are filled with some items nutritionists would consider "chalk fillers". Please check the items before you buy. It would be to the buyers benefit if you go get these items at Costco or a general grocery store.Pros:*Great at teaching you form*Great cardio based workout!*Highly recommend Nathalie, Danielle, Christaray, Rexx, and (I know he's there bist I believe it's the wrong E name!) Elijah(?). Forgive me. They give you that push, energy, and overall honesty if you seek their opinion.*gloves are decent! I received two for free including a bag*they do watch for physical health and provide alterations*Nutrition guidance is available with extra costsDo what you wish with this information. I hope this provides proper insite from a former FitThereom. I understand the company may give negative kickback and possibly push against my whole experience. When I say it was difficult to get out of the contract due to medical, it really was. They will not reimburse you for months missed, only the previous month. Be warned.

Beware of their false advertisements on Facebook. The 6 week challenge is not free and actually costs $700. Generally speaking, it's safe to lose 2% body fat per month. So they advertise the challenge as free and promise a refund if you lose 6% body fat - making it impossible to qualify for a refund. They should be reported and shutdown.

Their six week challenge pulled me out of a low point in my life. I got all of my money back from successfully completing it. I ended up joining the gym a month later cause the classes are pretty fun. The coaches are very kind and remember me when I come in, even the other members are kind. This gym is also never boring. The classes are super engaging and the coaches are very involved and will to help with form/modifications/other stuff lol. This gym is awesome lol

I lost 6% body fat in 6 weeks and grew about 2 lbs of muscle and this is my testimonial for the program.I have gained irreversible confidence in my body and myself. I have proved to myself that if I really do set my mind to it, I can do it. The progress and the feelings from this challenge has changed my brain chemistry forever and how I will proceed with my life from now on.I want to keep my fitness journey going and I know now how to do it with the help of Fit Theorem. Here are some things that really helped me during my journey.1) I tracked all my protein macros really hard on MyFitnessPal. I think this was a huge key factor in my progress. Protein fills you up and helps you build muscle, the more muscle you have the more fat it helps you burn.2) Don’t restrict yourself, eat healthy versions of foods that you normally enjoy. And for more “junk” food allow yourself a bite or two and stop. But never completely restrict those foods or else it will be a slippery slope3) Nutrition is so important it is a huge part of it, but showing up to the classes are just as important. Set yourself up for success by sorting out your gym clothes, signing up for classes ahead of time, and really trying to make it second nature like brushing your teeth. At first I was so out of shape and could not keep up and as the weeks went by i was proud of how my body had strengthened in that short amount of time4) Meal prep ahead of time especially if you know it will be busy for the next few days or if you’re going out. I personally didn’t stop going out but I properly prepared myself mentally and ate beforehand. It was incredibly hard5) Here are some of my favorites that kept me going:Golds standard whey protein powder in Mocha Cappuccino— when I tell you I put my gym rat friends on this flavor it means it’s incredibly delicious and not sweet at all. Try it!! Buy the big container on Amazon for best dealAmericanos — I never thought I’d be that kind of girl but I tried 4 Oz just black coffee poured into a glass of ice and I filled up the rest with water, it’s delicious, refreshing, burst of energy, and helps you with your cut. I even put it in my shaker and combined it with my mocha capp protein powder sometimes it was delicious and a life saverChobani Greek yogurt from Costco combined with granola/cereal Grape nuts for texture and fiber but it tastes like a parfait added in cutie orange pieces for bursts of sweetness freshness and tartnessBabybel light was super yummy cheese and did not affect my body fat percentage.I bought cartons of egg white and my favorite breakfast was egg white and sprinkled Babybel light cheese over it, it melts and that was incredibly deliciousWhole Foods salmon pre packed 6 pucks of 5 Oz salmon for only $26 was a life saver. I would sometimes throw this in frozen after I season it into the air fryer and it would taste so good and was so convenient. They also have cod/tilapia in same fashionCucumber/broccoli/lettuce/spinach were easy leafy greens to add in.Half a cup of white rice was what I’d typically pair salmon with or any other protein.Vermicelli noodles with shrimp, greens and savory protein bone broth was high in protein satiating and fulfilling. I tested a lot of bone broth and I liked the bare bones brand with the packets in beef the best, it had 10g protein each.I also bought amino acids—- a way less sodium version of soy sauce even less than low sodium soy sauce.I experimented with cottage cheese and made an easy pasta sauce by whisking cottage cheese and nutritional yeast together. Tasted so delicious and was high protein. I paired it with egg noodles and chicken meatballs amylu brandGood luck!!
