Had an incredible experience at Alderwood Mall Journey's earlier today! A blonde girl helped me and my daughter out and we found exactly what we needed! She came out with the shoes we asked for, as well as a few other incredible options, and we ended up picking out 3 pairs of shoes to take home. She was very knowledgeable about taking care of the shoes, and let us know about other promotions in store. We will be returning soon. :)

Extremely Disturbing Experience, Wish I Could Give 0 Stars.
I came into Journey today hoping to shop for a new pair of shoes, but instead I witnessed something truly upsetting. While I was in the store, a blonde woman possibly the manager was yelling at younger employees in a way that was completely uncalled for. I don’t know what the situation was, but her behavior was unacceptable. She was shouting so aggressively, it honestly felt like I was witnessing a verbal attack. I felt incredibly sorry for the employees being berated like that. It was disturbing enough that I almost went to check if they were okay. No one deserves to be treated like that at work especially not in front of customers. I ended up leaving without buying anything because the whole environment was so uncomfortable. I have no intention of returning unless this woman’s behavior is addressed. No manager should treat their team that way.

Alright let me tell you guys about this alderwood journeys… so Boom me and my family were going to the mall and we walked into journeys because we had a friend who worked there named Davian. Buttt he got fired not long ago so me and my family were not expecting him to be there. So when we walked into journeys we were so surprised and we said “HE’S HERE “ and everyone gave us dirty looks so then we started looking at shoes minding our own bizz. THENNN I felt this intriguing presence so I looked behind me and I see this girl with blue hair mixed with black she looked like an anime ahh.. and she was so up on us saying “can I help you guys with anything” with a very rushed energy so me and my cousins said no “we’re just saying hi to our friend Davian” and she rolled her eyes and walked up to her little friends in the corner, so me and my cousins were just like ok? Likeeee. And THEN this anime looking ahh came up to us and said “There’s no Davian here there’s none of that” Like GIRL we know HIM and then she proceeds to say “He’s Nearly an adult u shouldn’t be doing none of that” So me and my friends start laughing so hard out of pure unexpected ment. So we run out the store laughing and we were like “WE don’t want HIM it’s NOT like THAT” so then a few hours pass and we were walking to the food court so we decided to walk to journeys so we could say hi to our friend cause we didn’t get to, so we walked in and were looking at shoes first because it looked like the other workers were puppy guarding our friend Davian. So me and my friends just gave up to say hi and I actually saw shoes I lowkey liked so I brought it up for a size… let me just tell u guys the costumer service was HORRIBLE while I was waiting for my shoe to be brought up this girl came up from the back and she gave me such a fake smile then rolled her eyes, let me just tell u guys the customer service was horrible. So after I got done trying on the shoe I JUST got done tying my shoes and this girl with blonde hair and a bun wearing Bright PINK comes up to me and says “so are u done r u going to buy a shoe or??” I felt extremely uncomfortable harassed and assaulted. So me and my cousins decided to leave cause we were so done, a few minutes pass me and my family are just chilling and we see the same worker with blonde hair in a bun and in bright PINK so one of my cousins says oh my gosh LOOK so all 3 of my cousins start running away and it took me a few minutes to realize so I look to my left and see the girl in pink approaching me so I start running really far and we finally get away. But moral of story don’t go to Lynnwood journeys

I went with my family on a Saturday afternoon and we know this guy that works at journeys so he went to go say hi to him, but the minute we walked into journeys me and my family got approached by the worker Aaron and started immediately asking us if we’re looking for anything we said no we’re just gonna go say hi to our friend and she asked us what’s his name and we said his name immediately she went to go to her other employees and talk to and she came back saying that there’s no one named the name that we said but number 1 that’s a lie because we know this guy that works there number 2 we saw the name on his name tag then she started asking us for ages so we told her our age and she was like he’s almost an adult and she made it seem like we like the guy that we wanted to see, which wasn’t true. We just wanted to say hi and she made it weird Saying that He’s an adult and she made it seem like we like the guy that we wanted to see and then we came back about 30 minutes later and my cousin wanted to try on some shoes so she asked Aaron for shoes and she gave her the shoes and then this other lady with blonde hair came and asked us wide eyes asking are you done trying on the shoe when my cousin just sat down I find it really disrespectful that they keep asking us and bothering us about you guys almost done like we felt rushed to leave and it made it obvious that they did not want us there and they kept talking bad about us openly in front of our face. I don’t recommend getting your shoes there

I had the absolute worst experience at this Journeys location. A worker named Aaron was incredibly rude to me and my cousins from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the other employees were rushing us out of the store, openly talking about us in front of our faces, and even making weird assumptions that we were interested in one of the employees. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional, I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation.

I went in with my bf on a saturday and it was pretty busy but within the first like 2 minutes of being in there we got approached by 3 associates that asked at least 4 times if we wanted to try shoes we even glanced at, then there was one shoe on display that was my size so I was gonna try it on but i got lectured because they don’t let ppl try on the displays cuz customers will ask for a sale since they’ve been tried on but they never told me that and most places will let you try on a shoe that fits. i want to be customer serviced but i don’t need my hand to be held

Michael was very professional and was clearly one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the store! I appreciated how he took the time to look up the specific shoe that I was looking for and explain the differences between this and the previous new balance 997H. Give him a raise!

I stopped in to buy some new work shoes because i have been struggling to find a pair for weeks. And as soon as i went in i was instantly helped by one of the workers Liberty, she knew exactly what i needed and recommended me things that would work best. She was also really fast at retrieving the multiple pairs of shoes i wanted which was really nice to experience! Thanks to her i was able to get great advice on which pair would work best for me and i was able to find the pair of shoes i needed plus some socks that would make the shoes more comfortable and easy to break into! Highly recommend this store!! Thank you again:)

As someone who used to work at a shoe store, this place is too sales-ey. Employee kept trying to sell me shoes and socks after I told them I don’t need any more. Please listen to your customer. And management, please don’t pressure your sales people to earn a commission this way. I was so uncomfortable I had to leave!

The blonde girl with eyelash extensions gave me a dirty look because I said no thank you to some shoes she brought out that weren’t the size I wanted, umm sorry I don’t want to order online but that doesn’t mean you have to give me dirty looks, if you don’t like your job quit :)
