I had an issue with my dishwasher and had New Berry Square Maintenance Techs come over and take a look. After they ordered the new unit and it was on site they came by and installed the unit in less then half an hour. Very friendly and knowledgeable people.Thank you, Osman and Justin for the good install.

Worst experience ever! The staff is very disrespectful and rude to their residents. I'm done with MG properties. Their leasing agents don't have what it takes to be leasing agents. If the leasing agent (Mary) is going to discriminate Section 8 voucher holders, she shouldn't be working in the office. On January 16, 2024, Lana scheduled me an appointment for a tour for their one bedroom apartment that will be available in March, but when I showed up, she acted like I didn't even exist. I told her my name and I was there for a tour. She told me I wasn't even on the schedule. She told me she doesn't have any one bedroom unit to show me, but she has a two bedroom unit she can show me. Anyway, to make a long story short, after she learned I was a section 8 voucher holder, she refused to show me the two bedroom unit (according to her, the two bedroom unit is totally different than one bedroom units so there's no point showing me the two bedroom unit). My section 8 voucher maximum amount is more than $1900 for one bedroom. So I didn't understand her logic other than maybe she doesn't want to deal with Hasco. And she referred me to the new apartments around the Alderwood mall and Costco area in Lynnwood. At this point, I thought maybe she doesn't want to deal with Hasco and has no knowledge of how to deal with the Section 8 paper work. Not only she refused to show me the two bedroom unit but she also referred me to her competitors. She should be reported to her upper management people. This whole thing didn't make any sense except she's just lazy! She doesn't want to get up and walk!Edited: Who's Maggie? No, you're not worth my time. I don't have any remaining question. Why would I want to talk to you? No, you don't deserve to be treated in a friendly and professional manner, because you sound just like your staff in your office.

We have had the pleasure of calling Newberry Square Apartments our home for almost a year now, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional, thanks to Mary T, the Community Manager. From the very beginning, Mary played a crucial role in making our move-in experience smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism, coupled with a warm and friendly demeanor, immediately put us at ease during what can often be a challenging time. Throughout the past year, Mary has consistently demonstrated a high level of responsiveness to our needs. Whether it was addressing maintenance requests or providing valuable information about the community, she has always been just an email or a phone call away. One of the standout features of Newberry Square Apartments is the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. The communal spaces are always tidy, and any concerns are promptly addressed, contributing to a positive overall living experience. In addition to the well-maintained property, our neighbors have been consistently respectful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that we greatly appreciate. I just moved in 02/09/24 from my application status along to moving in was amazing. I was approved quickly with alternative options for deposits. Mary was super informative and helpful along with Kaelana. There was one issue when moving in and Maintenance was up while I was moving in fixing those issues. Mary is so sweet and very helpful. Continuously checking on me to see how things are going. Great property manger. Thank you!

The property manager Mary, is the greatest and one of the primary reasons I’ve continued to be a resident here. Her value is unparalleled. She provides the Best Customer Service, has been a consistent light in the community. She has set my expectations so high with her warm personality and dedication, you can’t buy a great heart and someone who cares, has great work ethic & skills to manage. I’m beyond grateful. Loved Fritz when he was here too. Gabriel is also 5 Stars.

The apartment was fine. The gym was nice. The staff in general are friendly.I would not recommend you live here.1. We have an ESA and the approval process was exhausting and the apartment does not know the laws surrounding privacy.2. Our cars were broken into, along with many others in the garage and parking lot. They were in full view of security cameras, yet no useful footage was recorded. All they told us was to not keep valuables in our car. If you are going to have cameras, at least upgrade them so you can pull a plate. Cars were broken into multiple nights during my 14 month stay.3. They will take every penny they can from you. We signed a 14 month lease which ended right around the holidays. When we asked for an additional month to move out slightly later, we were informed that extra month would be $4,300, rather than our usual rent of $2,600. After the move out inspection there was no damage noted to the carpet, but they want to charge us $1,800 to replace the carpets.Be wary of the positive reviews as the managers ask repeatedly for you to rate them.

Unauthorized Enrollment in RentPlusI recently discovered that I was enrolled in the RentPlus program by MG Properties without my consent. This resulted in monthly charges of $14.95 for two months. When I contacted RentPlus, they claimed that we residents signed on our lease had given them permission to enroll us, despite me never providing consent. This unauthorized enrollment has been both frustrating and concerning. It's essential for residents to be aware of such practices. I recommend exercising caution and verifying any additional programs or services before you paid your rent.I recommend all residents who were enrolled in this way to call RentPlus to opt out l, because were enrolled without consent. On top of everything Kim O'Brian didn't even apologize for inconvenience.CURRENT RESIDENTS PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MONTHLY CHARGES

To make it short and simple about my experience with Manager and maintenance person. Basied, very rude and condescending. They made up expenses to take my security deposit. Stay away from this apartment.
