I absolutely adore working at Skate Journeys! The atmosphere here is fantastic, and the team's dedication to spreading the joy of skating is inspiring. Moreover, my kids absolutely love their skate lessons! The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly supportive, making it a wonderful learning experience for them. Highly recommend this place for both work and play

There's nothing like flowing through the air, perfectly balanced.. I imagine it's what levitation or flying must feel like. Skate Journeys gave me the skills to experience this joy in everyday life, and sometimes while skating outdoors on beautiful Seattle trails. Unlocked a new dimension of fun and fitness for sure. The great community of people who go here is icing on the cake!

Waited 40 min for chicken strips and taco salad and when I finally got my food it was cold and provided to me in a trash bag and to go boxes cold. Tossed together had them "remake" it and they just put the same chicken strips back in the fryers and added more lettuce to the salads still slipped together. Spencer said he was having them remake it after I requested my money back twice and it was even older just hotter the second time

Skate Journeys is an absolute amazing program. Their instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are anxious to help and are interested in seeing you/your kid progress in their learning.Massive shout out to Trish who has been instrumental with every aspect of the program. From what skates to use, pads, work outside of the program, Trish has been a pleasure to work with.

Skate rinks have sadly become scarce, so having Lynnwood Skate & Bowl around is pretty neat. Snack bar in the Skate deck area where you can order food, candy, non-alcoholic drinks, and a free water dispenser makes being a non skating parent tolerable. For grownup juice, the bar is nearby on the bowling alley side where you can also place food orders and they will deliver to you on the rink side. The menu is pretty big, surprisingly. Burgers, pizza, salads, apps, and the typical fried foods you would expect. The bartender was super patient and kind while we decided what to order from the large menu. We placed two separate food orders at the same time, however our food was delivered 20 minutes apart. The second delivery seemed to have been left/forgotten under a heat lamp. The beef in the under stuffed tacos was crumby and dry, and the flour tortilla shells were burnt. Served with tortilla chips and Pace salsa, I felt the $15 price point was a little high. Having so many menu options was nice, but prices overall seemed on the higher end for the serving sizes and ingredient quality. When you walk into the Skate deck side you are accosted by the humidity of body heat hanging in the air and the unmistakable essence of age old Skate rink carpet tightly holding onto every sweaty foot to have graced the floors. The nostalgia takes me back to childhood, and keeping roller skating alive in this day and age makes coming here worth it. Food might be hit or miss, staff is incredibly polite and respectful, could use some improvements with air flow - but overall worth my kids' smiles and memories made with friends!

Skate Journeys is a great nonprofit skate school to work for. As an avid inline skater, I value the rare opportunity to be able to work in the skating industry. Our instructors and volunteers put an immense amount of effort into supporting the skate school, providing opportunities for all to learn the fun sport of skating.

Love me some Skate Journeys! Even though I've tried inline skating off and on over the years, I never learned proper techniques, so taking their classes has made a huge difference in my abilities, and they are SUPER FUN! Highly recommended for ALL AGES!

By far the shittiest place I've been to in Lynnwood. Dirty af. Everyone who works there is a jackwagon. They dont have any problems there because all their problems are yours. Totally unwilling to help after they screwed up. They will give your lanes away mid game and say sorry not my problem. When you reserve lanes They put their hands up and say sorry not ready for an hour or longer or sorry we only have one available. Do not waste your time money or sanity. Shitbox.

We were here for the open skate and had a good time. The staff was friendly and $15 for skating (skate rental included) isn't a bad deal at all. I also like that they let those who want to skate fast have their own time and they got to race as well - it felt almost like a show for us, I found that interesting. What I didn't like: the place needs a good cleaning. There was garbage everywhere, and when I held on to the side during skate, it felt gross upon touching.

I got my sis skates for Christmas and with the absence of SkateKing and Rollerfair Skate Deck we went to the closest rink which was Lynnwood bowl and skate. We really really wanted to like it. But ...it was hard. Family skate on a Saturday- cute cute kids, but maybe not the best time if you're a a 70's skater trying to "get back in it" First the happies :)1. Rental skates are suede, easier to fit and comfortable. 2. Nice team, super sweet people helping get fitted making you feel comfortable. 3. Bar. Need I say more. Now... the crappies :(1. Rink is in horrendous condition- rink is disgustingly dirty, every single surface is stinky. 2. Crappy music. - one word, no Disco. 3. Bathrooms stink.4. Parking is a disaster, no spaces. Owners- if you are reading this review- put a few bucks into this great place- wax and clean the floor. Replace some toilets and pick the gum off the carpet and the syrup off of every single surface.

So here's my story: Last year I trashed my meniscuses skiing, and I'm a doctor. I was embarrased, mostly, so I looked for ways to repair them, and it boiled down to skate skiing, ice skating, or roller skating. Since I skated as a kid, not knowing much more than going forward and crossovers, I figured I'd try it again. I found Skate Journeys and Trish, not knowing she is a superstar of skating in the PNW, and bought an entry level skate to try. Then I started learning to skate in my garage on Zoom. My knees haven't hurt again since I started, and now I'm doing lessons once a week, and skate in a rink once a week. It's pretty amazing, and now I'm working on transitions, and doing the grapevine, even. My game is definitely elevated, and I'm actually meeting people at the rink. It's almost as much fun as the crazy skiing I used to do, and cheaper, more accessible, and now because of Skate Journeys, way more interesting. There's no way I'll finish learning all they have to teach, and it's fun being a beginner at something again! Thanks Trish, Naomi, and Mason!

I love this place! I skate as much to I can to practice.I did recently break my leg there while skating, but it was a total fluke accident! I plan to come back when I have healed. The rink is a lot wider than the one in south center, and there is a lot of open space outside of the rink. That's why I kept coming back. The staff there are awesome and they have a pretty open schedule to skate.

Was nice .. went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't as crowded . Did an hour of bowling and then skating . Bowling was about 35$ per hour per lane and an extra 5$'per shoe (rental). We could do about 2 full games . Skating was also ok . Lots of crowd in skating but kids loved it . They have snack bars and beer/wine and a full bar . Parking is good. Overall a good place for kids ...
