Husband has been working on his F-150 for a week. There was a problem with his brake lights/ blinkers. Replaced all the bulbs. Fuses, wiring harness, all the usual suspects. We finally asked for a referral on one of my Facebook groups and he was suggested. Dropped it off Tuesday night and it was fixed Wednesday afternoon! He was able to find a bad wire coming out of the fuse box. He was awesome! I will be taking me second vehicle in soon to have that one fixed up. Highly knowledgeable and highly recommended!

The level of incompetence at this shop is baffling. I was recommended this shop as I was told this was a family owned business who does good work, but you can't get any work done because of the scheduling issues and lack of communication between their employees and the customer. My first appointment was scheduled for the wrong date so I showed up and was turned away. I insisted Steve at least check why my engine light was on, he did and we rescheduled. I paid for diagnostic testing and was told my muffler needs replacing, Steve told me they could order a part, weld it and fix the muffler. I agreed and told them please call me when part comes in. Two weeks later no response, I call, speak to Jayne, who admits no part was ordered. I kindly said that's okay and she said she would order the muffler part. I drop off the car today, see Steve, he shows me the muffler part and then says it will be a few hours. I walk out the door and then get a call 20 minutes later from Jayne saying they can't replace the muffler, that they never could. That I need to go to a muffler shop. She apologized, but seriously? What a waste of my time.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I took my car to Tom's B&M Auto on recommendation. After giving me their opinion on the issue,I mentioned to them that I would like to get a 2nd opinion on whether or not I would have to replace a windshield wiper motor and that if it looked like I would, have to get a new one, I would potentially bring it back to them to get it fixed.Long story short, the woman at the front desk took offense to this and pretty much kicked me out of their shop.I cannot speak on their work, because I definitely will not be allowing them to work on my car, not ever. The woman at the front desk was beyond rude and unprofessional.I would rather spend a little extra money and take my car to a place that would show politeness and respect, to their customers.

Tom is a true master mechanic and a wizard at diagnosing car problems. I have found everyone at B&M Auto to be very efficient, extremely honest and they will go the extra mile to take care of you. I wish I had found them 25 years ago!!Services: Oil change

Fixed my brakes in Sept 2021. Put the fear of god in me by saying my wheels had an issue and MIGHT SNAP OFF, right before a 3-hour road trip. After that I endured one of the most white-knuckle rides of my life flinching on every bump in the road. Since then my wheels have not snapped off; I'm not sure if it was a scare tactic or what.

had my only car tow there for some work done, they said it would be completed in less than 3 days, 2 weeks later it was done with $500 over the original written quote, lost my job and couldnt pay the additional cost, they started to impose $150 a day for storage. what a bunch of crooks

Jane and Tom are honest and straight up. Tom's one of the best mechanics I've met in 40+ years of needing service work done on cars.

If there was an option for negative stars, this place would receive it. Got a quote to install some brake line into a Toyota, I was quoted labor and materials $1,200 and it would take one day. 3 and a half months later with a bill close to $2500 and the truck is still not functional. Ask for a breakdown on the cost and Jane said we did all custom work on your car and a huge electrical job. Well I brought in all the lines for Tom to use. And he change the story to. I had to run all new lines with fittings. Well that goes back to $1,200 labor and materials. Ask about the huge electrical job that Jane mentioned. It was a rear tail light that I ask Tom to check (4wires) in the I had to tow the vehicle out of the shop paid the bill. Because Jane threatened to charge $150 a day for storage. Tom agree to knock down the bill a bit because he couldn't justify the hours he said he spent on the truck. After $2,000 with tow bill I got back my non running truck. One expensive lesson. I hope new customer would get everything in writing so they don't have to go through what I went through. A very disappointed customer

this place is a joke, brought my car in for a service, oil change and radiator flush, they call me about 4 hours later to pick up the car. i drove off and after 10 miles i notice a trail of oil behind the car, i call them up and they said nothing on their end that has been done wrong, i had the car tow to the nearest dealership. the dealership said the drain plug was gone, the only one that touch the drain plug was the one that did the oil change, contacted BBB

Took my 03 explorer here after taking it to another shop. Within 10 mins they had it figured out the new alternator the other shop installed wasn't connected correctly. They fixed it and fixed my battery cable connectors. Jane is amazing and so helpful and sweet. They are all very nice and helpful. They dont over charge and they are honest with you. Prices are great. They actually care about their customers. I will taking any of my vehicles here. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for getting my truck up and running.

I took my car in for an oil change, and had a few questions regarding my new brakes and rotors. They confirmed my fears - where I went for brakes and rotors scammed my with price gauging and faulty parts. They helped to repair my brakes and rotors (even though it was not their original job) and I can finally breathe with the assurance that my brakes and rotors will work (just a small ask) and last for more than a few weeks. I appreciate the kindness, thoroughness, and honesty in which this business interacts with customers. Tom's B&M Auto is the place for all vehicle repairs.

Brought my camaro in for a power steering rack replacement. After getting the car back; my traction control system wouldn’t turn on and had TCS lights on my dash. I was told the lights would go away after alignment, completely false as they didn’t go away. I brought it back and they admitted they didn’t reset my angle wheel sensor, which should’ve been done. They reset it. I noticed the rack was extremely noisy, they claimed the rack was faulty, and installed a new one. Steve said he didn’t notice the noise after replacing the rack initially, which is hard to believe as the alignment shop I took it to after the rack install said they noticed “heavy internal noise”. After installing the second rack the power steering pump broke; I let them replace it as the rack and pump are often hand and hand when repairing(understandable). I picked my car up and the airbag sensor light was now on, and I could barely turn my wheel left. I brought it back to them; they said they don’t work on airbag problems and the power steering pump has a break in period. I brought it to a local Chevy dealership where they confirmed the clockspring was broken, where they confirmed it was likely due to neglect of locking the steering wheel during the rack and pinion install, as clocksprings rarely just “go out”. The dealership also noted the wheel wouldn’t turn due to low power steering fluid, not a “break in period” like I was told. I paid toms for fluid and they didn’t put it in my car. So in total I paid approximately 1500$ for a extremely frustrating experience. After taking my car back more than 6 times they still gave me the car back with a 500$ clockspring repair and low fluid. Not to mention the time, travel, coordinating rides, etc. i had to accommodate for to keep coming back to toms. They tried to blame my camaro for being unreliable; which in reality I haven’t had a single issue with the car in the years I’ve owned it. Even if it was unreliable, your job is to fix it? They offered to look at the car again for the clockspring issue which I refused for two reasons. The first being that Everytime I go, something else breaks. I was not willing to run that same risk again as I already did multiple times. The second reason being Steve already told me he dosent work on airbag related issues. So they refused to pay the 500$ to the dealership, and refused to fix the problem they created. I would really like to hear a owners response. I wanted to like this shop, they seemed nice, squeezed me in on a tight schedule, and I trusted them. I am very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.UPDATE: Toms and I were able to come to a friendly resolution. Thank you.Service: Steering & suspension repair
