I just wanted to give you a shout out to Jasmine the general manager. I had ordered online and there was an issue with my address and FedEx couldn't deliver it. I had called Ulta help support and they wasted 20 min and put me on hold just to tell me they couldn't edit it due to security reasons even after I verified my personal information and my address, but they told me to go to one of the locations and have them help me. I didn't think the location could help to be honest since I ordered online not from the store and I have worked retail before and I know that there isn't much they could do since it was placed online. I went aways to at least try, that's when I met Jasmine and she took the time out of her day when the store was busy just to help figure out a solution, we couldn't at the time figure something out since it was the weekend. I ended up getting a call from FedEx and they were able to update the address so the problem was fixed. Not everyone would go the extra mile, so she deserves a shout out for all her hard work and dedication to help her customers. She is a great general manager!

ANGELA IS THE BEST!!! She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. She listened to what I was trying to accomplish and and could not have been more on her game to show me how to get it done. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you Angela!

I usually find this location tolerable but the new cashier Aubree needs attitude coaching and maybe a day off. I had just gotten blood work done and was feeling woozy and weak. I asked if they had a too faced palette she went and got it from the back and I asked to see it very kindly and she snapped NO. By see it I didn’t mean open and run fingers thru it but see it thru the film to ensure no powders were broken before buying. All the others girls working have had zero issues with this kind request. It’s quite reasonable. She was so unbelievable rude after that interaction she giving me the death glare. This is a bad person. When I went to pay the gift card issued by them needed a scratch off I again kindly asked if she can help me scratch it off. She rudely snared NO. I was quite surprised at her lack of professionalism at this point. I had to kindly ask a nice gentleman working next to her to have him help her do her job, and even he was surprised at her attitude and why it was such a big deal. I mean aubree had pens and many tools she could have used but she was choosing to be an immature and petty. After the painful sales encounter I said thank you to her and she gave me another stone glaze and continued to roll eyes and be nasty. I’ve never met a more rude and unprofessional cashier than this one. But figure it out ulta. I went to Sephora later today and was very impressed with my checkout experience. I guess ulta is full of low class Walmart style clerks these days hiring anyone with a pulse. This experience stays with me choosing Sephora over ulta for beauty as much as possible. Shame on this girl shame on her. Such a pity to treat anyone regardless of medical state or race that way.

Very expensive. They get fee based on the amount of time it takes to do the work on your hair. How do I know if they don't take a long time on purpose to get higher fees

Don't want to play the race card here, but; if you belong to a certain demographic, expect to be followed around the store, watched incessantly, and talked to in demeaning undertones.

They welcomed me in store. The manager walks around ao sweet if everything OK chatting really sweet. An employee guided me to get makeup for my bags in my eyes, and the person that works at Naz did a makeup correction on my face. There is a promotion right now with a gift bag. They are wonderful!

Beware BewareThe manager (a blonde woman) is extremely rude along with her obnoxious staff.I spent 15 minutes walking around the store looking for Sunday Riley serum. Several staff members were standing around talking and laughing. And didn’t offer any service or help to find what I was looking for.When I finally found the serum someone came over and asked if I needed help!!! I asked if there were any gifts or samples with the purchase of the product. The person said “I’m sure there is. Just ask when you check out”. She then went back to laughing with her coworkers.I proceed to the checkout and asked if they had any gifts with purchase or samples. The checkout person said she would look. She opened a few drawers (which were full of samples) and said no there wasn’t any. Ok so I paid and then went to find the manager. She came over and opened a few drawers and said the same thing -a big NO. She said we don’t have any! In an extremely rude way!! Really!! When I spend quite a lot of money in this store! I’m sure giving a few samples won’t make the store broke.The staff in Lynwood are extremely obnoxious and very rude.I will not be returning to Ulta. There are a lot of other cosmetic options!

Had a really great experience today at Ulta! I worked with a employee named Elana, and she helped me to find everything I needed and more. I was really nervous about an upcoming wedding and needed some tips on putting together a good look and she had tons of recommendations that were super helpful and I left with products that I really am confident in using. Only did four-star is because I wish the employees had access to be able to put the make up on me and not just me do it alone at a counter, but overall still happy with the purchase and the store.

Came to this location to get my hair done with for my birthday. We had Rita at the salon and she was AMAZING!!! She made my hair dreams come true! She along with other staff made the salon area feel safe to exist! Will definitely be going back to get my hair done!

I wasn't initially going to post a review, but its been bothering me how I was treated last time I visited this Ulta. I can in looking for some a product with collagen in it, I was hoping for a serum. I looked around and only found one so I approached an employee to ask if I was in the wrong section. I immediately got handed over to a Philosophy rep who proceeded to talk at me and over me for a half hour most of which she spent bragging about how she knew the president. She told me about how my entire routine was wrong and proceeded to insult the brands that I liked. After prying myself away from the rep I found the section I was looking for when I was trying to find the start of the line which is always SUPER CONFUSING.TLDR: Employees avoid customers like cockroaches, the reps are rude salemen, and the store is always super dark, confusing, and poorly laid out. If it hadn't been for the AWFUL Philosophy rep I probably would go back.

Every time I had best experience at this Ulta, Always some one is there to help find product and answer your queries.Today Sofia helped me finding perfect foundation shade for my face and also products for brows.Very friendly staff and great customer service.At me today’s visit at store The only thing that was little annoying, is new security person who is keeping an eye wherever you are walking in store..
