An absolutely remarkable clinic! My cat had been displaying symptoms of a severe UTI, and I needed to take him to the vet the same day. Shaun, the receptionist, was exceptionally kind and understanding, and the office was able to accommodate us within 30 minutes of my call. The veterinarian, Sarah, was incredibly patient with my skittish cat and provided informative guidance at every step. After a brief visit and some prompt relief, I couldn't be more thankful for VCA!

3 Dogs - $900 for Vaccines!!! We have taken our dogs to the VCA Meadowdale Location for almost 10 years now and have always liked the service HOWEVER… I took my 3 healthy schnauzers in there 2 weeks ago for vaccines and walked out with a bill for almost $900!!! I called them back right after I left the office that day and asked to speak with someone regarding the charges and it took them 13 days to call me back and when they did it was the front desk person who really can’t answer any questions or make any decisions in the way of the charges. I thought the office manager or at least one of the Vet’s would have called me,Not the front desk kid who caught the brunt of my frustration. So unfortunately I’ll be on the hunt for a new vet!

They take good care of our dogs....however....They chronically overbook, with almost no drop in slots (basically, any urgent needs, and you have to look elsewhere). They also pushed us to buy a care club membership...which is specific to their clinic location...cant even use it at another VCA...despite what the website says.

We've been coming to this VCA location after switching our vet in 2021. We currently see Dr. Brawley for our dog's needs and absolutely love working with him and his team. They are kind, patient, and honest people. It is evident that Dr. Brawley cares so much for animals as seen by his excellent, compassionate care at each visit. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy, VCA Meadowdale!

VCA vet is amazing! Very friendly staff who answer the phone quickly. They send out reminders. On top of all that they check on how visits went after a few days via text. This is a huge bonus because you can answer on your own time and feels very personalized. They also provide affordable pet care plans. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

I have been with VCA meadowdale since I first rescued my pittie 8.5 years ago. She has now passed and am in their care again with my new rescue. The staff here is absolutely OUTSTANDING. We have seen every provider and every assistant here. And every single person is the most gentle, kind, and caring human being I’ve ever met. Their love and passion for the animals who come through their door radiates throughout the clinic.Janet, Shawn, and Sam at the front are always so pleasant whenever I call. They have walked me through the most challenging times leading up to euthanasia of my sweet girl Dutchess. The love and care in their hearts throughout the entire process is something I’ll never forget.Dr. Tossen and her assistant always tell me the truth. I’m never left feeling unsure. And again, the most gentle, kind, and loving souls. Their care during losing my sweet girl made me feel safe and loved. They walked me through every step leading up to it. I never felt rushed or judged. And their grace and kindness through everything I will always be eternally thankful for.I am forever grateful for the staff here. Their care is above and beyond perfection. Thank you for taking such great care of us. I am so grateful to have you care for my new rescue. I always look forward to coming to see you all!

This is probably the worst vet I’ve been to so far… it’s also the most expensive. You have a 45min slot with your vet and when it’s done they literally just walk out and don’t come back, even if you still have unresolved questions. The front desk staff (and the vets/vet techs) are extremely rude. They stood on his tail and said “oh I didn’t know he was standing there”. They didn’t answer any questions with a straightforward answer they contradicted themselves so much. My cat got sick after coming here so we brought him back to figure out what’s wrong and they didn’t know. They took him to the back for an injection and didn’t tell us they’d try getting urine (he’s very sensitive in that area due to urinary issues) and we just heard him screeching from the back and they didn’t say anything until we asked and they just awkwardly laughed. He was sick and not eating and the vet tech said he looks like he has some extra storage and would be good loosing a few pounds, he was literally sick and not eating for a few days! The vet tech that did his shots made a snarky comment and was so rude when they took him to the back. They just pushed their food and a bunch of other stuff he didn’t need. Kept mixing his stuff up saying we need to bring something in we already brought and the communication was just awful. They also used a lot of scare tactics to try get us to use their products. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I was a patron at this location for a few years. Only because I hadn't looked around. Each appt was over $110 just to be talked to by the vet. An anal gland expression was $60. Took her in and brought her out in about 3-5min. Hmmmm. Not to mention when I would bring her in for her $30 nail trim, they would ALWAYS forget her dew claws. So I would have to make an extra trip back for them to do it. Then when she needed her teeth cleaned, the quote was $1600 on the low side. And that didn't include the pre-op blood work.I understand vet care is expensive. But it should also be affordable.I took my dog to Sno-King. Got bloodwork, three teeth pulled and teeth cleaning for $368. My dog is 13yo and 9lbs.VCA... I feel like it's all about the money here. It's sad. When it should be about my dog.

DO NOT TAKE YOU ANIMALS TO THIS LOCATION VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Hung up on me during a phone call trying to get a prescription drug for my dog. They’re no help they will not fill a prescription from another animal hospital. Even if it is from another VCA hospital don’t take your animal here they’re a giant scam and just want to take your money to tell you what you’ve already been told by another licensed animal hospital!

Took my dog in for a wellness exam and was he seen by Dr. Otto. She was very nice, gentle, and calm with my dog knowing he has a lot of anxiety at vet appointments. Would definitely recommend her to any pet owners that have anxiety-filled dogs! Constantly gave him treats and reassurance!

Horrible vet, they will rip you off and give your pet the wrong medicine. I'm taking them to court for malpractice. See you in court vca. Now check out their reply to my post. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, ONLY YOUR MONEY. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT DOING WHAT THEY DO.

Tldr: there are better, less expensive vets out there and you and your pets deserve better.Only brought a newly adopted cat here due to a "free" vet visit for new pets. However, in what should have been a quick visit, my fiance was bullied into additional testing without even being told the cost and upon leaving was told that he was free to leave. He even doubled back and checked that it was okay to go because he didn't feel right leaving without any follow up or payment. Again, was told that he was okay.A week later we get a call saying that we left without paying and that we owe over $300. Was able to get it knocked down to $230 because we had to remind them that the visit itself was free. We request an itemized bill and see that the visit alone would have been $110.On top of that overpriced visit, the booster shot that our cat was given ended up costing $51 while market price seems to be anywhere from $20-$40.The additional testing (FIV/FeLV) cost $178 whereas anywhere else I can find charges ~$20-50. Vetco offers it as an add on to a basic vaccination package for just $33.On a more personal note, I've never been to a vet appointment where the techs or doctors barely even petted or given treats or were friendly with our cats, it was very disappointing that no effort was made to make a scary experience a better one.

my 23 year old cat was dying and they got me in for euthanasia in one hour. then 6 wks later my 19 year old cat died unexpectedly they got her in immediately for cremation. I would use them over and over if my usual vet is closed. Front desk staff are so helpful and understanding. The Dr who put my 23 yr old to sleep was so kind and sympathetic and told us she was the oldest cat she'd ever seen in her time as a vet. Will use them always as a back up.
