I frequent Verity in Lynnwood - to access my account in a credit union in Tacoma (a great service they provide). I was there a few days ago, waiting in line, when I walked over to the Asst. Branch Mgr., Querico Borja to tell him that I couldn't help but overhear his phone conversation. He was so kind and patient, and I just wanted to give him positive reinforcement. He very much appreciated my comments to him and I wanted to make note of his professionalism and kindness here too.

Have been using Verity for over 15 years and they have been amazing. I would recomend them to everyone. My son banks here now as well.

They had closed all my wife’s accounts without her knowledge. Canceled our credit card thru them without our knowledge. They are keeping everything that is ours rightfully and I wouldn’t refer this credit union to anyone. Even if it was the last credit union ever. My wife had three accounts with them that they shut down without her knowledge and she had been banking with them for 30 years. If you have this credit union you should take your business else where or it could happen to you.

The team here is great. I came in for a scheduled 15 min appointment - it ended up taking a bit longer and I so appreciate how patient the teller was with me. The only task we were not able to complete that day was completed on the following and she gave me a follow up call. The follow up definitely built trust and I would go back again if I need in person services.

Applied for solar loan online and was approved in a day, I was quoted a specific APR which I was happy with and a few days later, received an email from the loan officer with details. And that is where the good things end. They are the most unresponsive bank that I have worked with, they do not really care about the customer. I had few questions which I emailed left at least 5 voicemails over few days but got no response. Finally about a week later I receive an email with half the information that I was looking for, called again the loan officer never picks up, left voicemails and emails, Finally get an email that the Initial APR quoted was incorrect and received a revised APR almost a1% higher. Again called no one picks left a voicemail and an email asking to urgently call me. Finally received "the" call which was not really helpful, they did seem to want my business. Decided to shop elsewhere and reached out to PSSCU and they were great, paperwork signed in a day and are very responsive

There are no problems to do business with the bank, if you clearly communicate your needs they are willing to help!

Sadly I have been a member of this Bank for 35 years and its time to say goodbye. When my card was closed be because the bank changed vendors it took 5 months to get a new card despite requesting one 4 months prior.I most recently tried to call the bank asking them set up an additional checking account. I was brushed off and told because they were expecting appointments that had not yet arrived they were unable to assist. They told me to apply online. That was 2 full weeks ago. I never have received a response. If it's impossible to get service and they won't help you over the phone I see no point in staying with this Bank

They have the friendliest customer service and they are open until 2pm on Saturdays, so that is very convenient. My favorite tellers are Nicole and Alicia at the Alderwood Branch. I highly recommend this credit union.

I was treated very well by Assit. Bank Manager Dennis,ask for him , respectful,polite and no man-splaing. Answered all my questions, gave me the information I needed.Took care of the business I needed done.Thank you Dennis.

The Alderwood Branch is awesome because of who manages the branch.Kao Saetern & Dennis Greely do an amazing job of making sure their staff serve members well.They also have guided my husband & me to all the best services & resources Verity has to offer over time & always with our best interests in mind.

Very bad customer service. 2 times I tryed to get personal lone they said we are busy go do it online . They was not bussy just me in the place .they dont want work I went to another place to get my lone .

The people are really friendly and nice BUT they cant get my payments online, their online platform is awful, they haven't allowed anyone in the lobby without an appointment since March and can't seem to email the information I need and have asked for for 4months. Its a very young feel to it which leaves some of the more serious and money affecting things out,

I have been a member only a couple of years, but the changes in service have made this place go downhill. A few changes to their credit card program came with a dropped rewards program and, seemingly, the benefit of a lower rate. Well, I finally used my card for barely $40. There seems to have been some very unsatisfactory changes to online banking too.. When I tried to login to make a payment, it wouldn't even let me login. I couldn't even reset my password. Something about my browser being unregistered. I was very confused since I have access to my email to reset everything so my browser shouldn't have been an issue. When I called, the lady didn't even explain what that was or how to register my browser. She was quick to tell me about a $15 fee to pay by phone. How sheisty! Lo and behold after having her reset my password, I didn't like the fact that they wanted my bank account information. You can't pay the bill with a debit card, which you used to be able to. I am very unhappy with these changes and the service level has gone down along with feeling nickel and dimed. Verity Credit Union is not the value it was even a year ago. They get two stars because I was finally able to login to the sad online banking.

I can't believe that I'm giving 1 star to a credit union. Without looking up the rate, I took a $200 cash advance, because I have usually had excellent experiences with rates on my other credit union accounts (BECU, Salal). When I saw my statement I noticed a $35 charge for the $200 cash advance (nearly 4 times as much as I would have been charged by BofA or Chase). I called to see if there was a mistake. The banker told me no, and that there was nothing he could do. Just paid off my card and closing my account. Don't go with Verity!
