Prescription was sent in at 12:00 p.m. and still not ready by 4:00 p.m. I'm not even sure I will get it on the day it was sent in

This is by far the worst Walgreens Pharmacy in the area. As a health care provider, I found that they have very poor customer service. They are consistently unable to fill prescriptions on time. The tech actually said “life happens”. Very unprofessional. I will be transferring all my business to CVS.

I called to update my insurance and was told multiple times I had the wrong info. The employee who answered was not listening, making me repeat myself, and still misheard what I said. Then she argued with me about what I didn't say, talking over me, and she hung up on me when I tried to correct her. Forget this pharmacy. I'll go elsewhere now. 7 years, and I finally hit my limit of bs there.

I stopped into the Family Pharmacy in Edmonds recently after an appt. upstairs with a prescription that needed to be filled. I asked if they carried the medicine, they did, and they were contracted with my insurance provider, and they filled it for me in 10 minutes. Had I taken that prescription to the Lynnwood Walgreens it would have taken them 3 days to fill it, and 30 minutes in line for me to pick it up. The drive thru is not important to me, as what's the point of having a drive thru when it isn't even staffed.

I have been going to this Walgreens for years to fill my prescriptions. You couldn’t ask for more caring pharmacists. Insurance coverage is wonky and they always take the time to answer my questions. Anytime that I have almost ran out of medication, they have worked with my care provider to get it filled quickly. I highly recommend.

The worst pharmacy

Wait too long to get a vaccination with appt and nervous enough to not wait.

The folks who work at the pharmacy are one of the nicest , kindest people I have met. They helped my dad get an insulin applicator working through several complications with the urgent care clinic and even going out of their way to talk and clarify with the doctor . 5 stars for customer service

Terrible customer service. Should have read the reviews before coming here. I was advised I could go through a pharmacy drive thru to get a COVID test since I'm sick to avoid exposing others. The young Asian lady at the window told me "you know we sell those inside right?" And would not sell me one. How does it make sense to make me go in the store when I don't have a mask on hand and expose everyone else?

Took my script for a painkiller that I needed for my surgery that they said they needed to order and never ordered it, now I’m scrambling to fill the prescription the day before my surgery

Went to get my Hepatitis vaccines last week, and they told me there’re 2 vaccine schedules - 0, 1, and 6 months OR 0, 7, 21 days, and then 12 months.I said I have to go with the 0-7-21-12 schedule since I’ll be out of town. And then yesterday I went back to get by day 7 booster, and guess what? A different pharmacist told me that THEY PUT ME ON THE WRONG SCHEDULE FROM THE START.This is ridiculous, how can people still trust them to refill your meds or give you shots after this??

Originally posted May 2023They finally got rid of the lady pharmacist that would accuse me of drug seeking/using my meds inappropriately, but replaced her with a guy (thick accent) that screams at me & my parents over the phone & in person, holding medically necessary treatment hostage & questioning if my Dr knows what they are rxing, now 2x. He claims it is Walgreen's policy or state policy or insurance policy, but will switch between whose policy he claims to be following in the same conversation (though I'm not sure him screaming at patients is a conversation). His refusal to dispense the meds my dr ordered on the day they need to be dispensed has messed up my med schedule significantly, so he makes a mess & then refuses to fill when we are trying to correct for the mess, leading to more stress with my Dr who is already understaffed & overwhelmed. He doesn't respect patients nor other medical professionals & seems to get off on being able to make life or death decisions about patient care. He will end up killing a patient by denying their meds one day if he hasn't already.Edit: This pharmacist has both hung up on me & told my provider's MA that he "doesn't have time" to resolve getting my meds dispensed when I need them, then hung up with them as well.UPDATED January 2024Edit 2: A month after this mess, I ended up having a heart attack. I had no risks for one other than high stress/pain, so while I wouldn't say dealing with this mess lead to the heart attack, it made that month my most stressful yet & definitely didn't help prevent it!Things did change recently, though & my medications are being filled much smoother. They have been having low staff a lot recently, which means they close their drive-through, so don't come during peak hours or the later hours when there is only one pharmacist. It's probably due to increases in vaccinations taking pharmacists away from their posts. While it says something like "press button for assistance if limited mobility" on the drive thru sign, they still didn't come to the window when I pressed the button & you can't see if they are just busy with customers since the sign covers the whole window. No one responded either, to say they will be there in a moment. Had to go inside & didn't have my cane with me, so it was quite painful & being immuno-compromised, very risky for me to be standing in line with others who may be sick.I do really like the lady/head pharmacist, though, & the cashiers who typically answer the phones are very kind & helpful, which makes a huge difference in my general stress levels that used to be sky-high, escalating for the week up to my monthly refills. I have added 2 stars for most of the pharmacy making the last few months much easier on me, but its still a game of roulette for the rude guy to be working & not having a cashier answer instead. My medical team especially enjoys not needing to call in too!

All I can say is: Hit or miss with these people. Sometimes, they are decent at filling your prescriptions. Most times, they are really...really slow. If they have a line inside the store or at the drive thru....FORGET ABOUT IT, PLAN ON SPENDING .30 MIN ++ TO GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION...Funny thing is, they are all young and slow.

Ridiculous. I had to wait 40 mins for my already scheduled appointment. There were multiple people coming in through the drive through and they’d help them first while I was standing in line and no one checked on us. I’m never going back here for sure
