September 2023 by Spartan Exterior Cleaning
The Maple Valley branch of ATI is where I go for my physical therapy. After years in the military I have a number of injuries that the staff at ATI have helped me overcome.Providing exterior cleaning services is hard on joints and old injuries. I could not do it without the help of ATI.

Don't go there you will be getting a bill every month even though you pay copayments trying to get the bill straightened out once you talk to someone is a joke! You could be trying to reach someone for hr or longer and then get conveniently disconnected! I am now to the point of turning them into Attorney general and they are going to look into once I fill therr paperwork out!

I had a great experience here. I came in on crutches after knee surgery and after just a few weeks of therapy, I was walking without crutches. When I completed the therapy I felt better than great. Therapists were all experts and so encouraging.

I love this PT place. They work you for an entire hour and you leave with all the equipment and paperwork to do the exercises at home. Everyone is super friendly and they want to get better quickly. They try a lot of different exercises to see what will make you feel the best.

I have gone to PT for the last 2 years, I was discharged after 6 weeks for my first year because James who wasn't my therapist, told me I was graduating and I told them I didn't feel like I should be because my pain wasn't where I wanted it to be. My insurance granted me more visits. But he rushed me out the door and that has always left a sour spot because my own therapist didn't see me off on my last day, it was him. He did mention I can always come back.I had Paulina in 2021, she was fantastic. Gave me great advice, years in this field. Didn't overstep herself or push me. I felt like I was slowly getting up there, baby steps at a time with Paulina. And I appreciate her understanding of my comfort zone. There was an issue with James from my understanding, that she felt overworked and he wouldn't let up on trying to cram as many appointments in at once for a small pandemic team, which was hard on his employees who were "not informed in time" and could not have a happy balance of work life. He was one if not the sole reason for her quitting. I miss Paulina.Typically there is one person or a team of two, which would be Grant and your therapist who are assigned to you. Grant is a fantastic team player. Positive, knows what to do, answers the phone, very nice in every way. He's the overall helper each year I've gone. A year later and I come back to ATI. Weaker, pain was worse. This time around there was a new employee who was just starting out with PT work, Jeanie. She was a sweet girl, but I had my doubts about my treatment within the first few weeks. For Jeanie, she did not report to my doctor about the correct information on my time at ATI. In my progress reports I was being seen as getting better for flexibility, but not the actual problem I came in for which was neck/shoulder pain. However I was constantly stressed and vocalizing my frustrations with my pain. But my doctor didn't want me to try other treatment options because Jeanie made my report sound like I was improving when I was telling her the opposite. Secondly, she did not understand how to do what Paulina previously did for me. Her level of training restricted me from getting appropriate help. I saw another PT, forgot his name, who was giving the girl next to me the same treatment that Paulina did on the shoulders and neck, and he obviously knew much more because right from the start Jeanie was clueless on what would work for me, despite being a previous patient with my file still in their system. I kept wondering why I wasn't assigned to the person who knew neck/shoulder work. I asked Jeanie a lot of questions and while she had basic knowledge, the treatment level was so different and weaker, I started to get depressed. Then I had a family emergency and decided I didn't need to come back. I will be avoiding ATI establishments from now on. I'd like to not be juggled around by 3 people all on the same day, then being forgotten about for 8 minutes while I wait for the next exercise. I was drained. The entire experience up until my last visit, I wasn't confident in the treatment. And no google reply comment, I do not wish to speak to someone. This is me speaking to you and the community about it. I will not be back.

Knowledgeable therapists, but I didn't feel they gave the absolute top level of care that I've received at other facilities. I'm a bit of a special client, I like to ask tons of questions and I like to just work with one person, not 3 different peopleIf this is your first PT place you're going to though, you'll be in good hands, and they will absolutely make a difference and be easy to work with.

I highly recommend. I went from about September 2021-December 2021. Within that time period i went from having foot pain from basic activities like walking to being pain free. I worked with Amy, Grant, and James primarily and all of them were incredible people, they are not only skilled, flexible, and knowledgeable, but actually get to know you as a person. They will make sure to comfortably challenge you whilst keeping you entertained. Thanks to them and some others, I have a better quality of life and get to achieve my dream of joining the Marines. Thank You!

I'm providing this review a year later, because it's only now that I realize how poor my treatment was relative to others who have treated me for my condition. I do believe they knew I was getting worse. They made no suggestions as to how to proceed, and eventually physical therapy became unbearable. They had no advice as to how to proceed and offered no additional resources to help me figure out my problem. They did more harm than good.

Dave from the Maple Valley team knows his work. He was able to diagnose my problem on my first visit with him. After following through with his recommendation, i was feeling much better a week later. After my second visit, most of my pain was gone. Thank you Dave.

I am very pleased with the care I have received this far! Care is consistent even though I work with different therapist.
