Clean and well stocked. Its usually quiet and not very busy perfect for when I got my kids with me. Everyones always nice and helpful. My kids love being able to pick out there own snack. I give my 2 girls each 20 dollars and tell them they get to pick out there snacks for the week. I remind them that mommy buys them the family ice cream, otter pops and all they need to do is find what they like and they need to find 1 new thing snack to try and 2 need to be fruits etc they known what to get and not get. Then when we get home they divide up there snack that go inside the pantry, what goes inside the fridge/freezer, and then every day when they get home from school or when its summer time they take an empty basket from the counter and go to the pantry, fridge, freezer and put everything they want to in there own little basket. Its taught my kids how to budget there money, it gives them the opportunity to share snacks, and they know that what's in there basket is it for the day. Because grocery outlet is less expensive then other stores its allowed me to stretch my food budget more and its help me teach my girls more about money.

I went there yesterday and had a good experience at first. I was about to pay for my items when I decided to take one last look around. That’s when an African American girl came in, and I overheard the cashiers making racist comments toward her. At first, I wasn’t going to say anything, but it reminded me that my best friend’s kids used to go there—and they also had bad experiences with being racially profiled by the staff. It’s upsetting because it’s 2025, and there’s absolutely no reason anyone should be treated differently because of their skin color. I really hope the owner takes this seriously and addresses it, because no one deserves that kind of treatment.

Tell your rude cashiers to greet patreons upon entering their line.
Training on customer service should be redone. Eating food at register. Dont want your greasy hands on my food. Also I heard them gossip about my children. But in the same token did not greet me or my family. Also no conversion during the check out was awkward as hell! Your essentially forcing me to sit through a painfully uncomfortable experience when you choose not to speak. I went as far as to ask the cashier how he was doing.... crickets.... This is very disrespectful to not only not greet someone in your line, but ignore them and their family.
If you dont like kids or families, get out of thr grocery business... TEACH your employees how to be respectful or REPLACE THEM. There are plenty of folks willing to work hard and have communication SKILLS.
The 2 younger gentleman work in the evening hours one cashier and one stockboy. They were caught gossiping about my family. Keep the gossip in the damn break room. Service your customer's while they are in your line. A simple good evening, or hello is not asking much of a paid employee

Understaffed and they are not helpful. Otherwise clean store

The establishment's size did not meet my expectations based on its imposing facade. While they do offer certain bargains, it is challenging to assemble a comprehensive meal from their offerings.

Everyone in my family is neurodivergent, but my son is the most outwardly so. We've been shopping here since they opened, and we always have excellent interactions with every staff member. They are open, familial and accepting of my son. He often drifts away from me as an older teen now, and frequently I find him near the front of the store chit-chatting with the staff. They are sweet and accomodating, and make him feel welcome. I never try to lean on them for this, but they seem to truly care about him. I feel safe. I like the smaller size of the store, but don't let that fool you - their inventory packs a punch! They've recently done a ton of improvements to their shelving and I think they've made room to carry at least 150% of stock space to their original inventory, which was already impressive. Sometimes I get out of the habit of shopping here when I need really specific items they may not carry, but when I remember to check Grocery Outlet first, I'm never disappointed by what I find. If I have to run to a big chain for Hoisin, so be it. We will always shop here as long as we live in the area.
