They were offering 300$ bonus for opening checking account,so this how they got me.I opened account, set up direct deposit and after 90 days I was hoping to get my bonus.Guess what?No money deposited to my account from Key bank. Tried to call them to customer service with no luck.I was told what I met bonus criteria, but could explain why I did not get the money.Typical click and bait.Would give 0 stars if I could.Do not do business with Key bank and stay away from them!

I have been using Key Bank and this branch for a good many years now...probably about 10. Have never had any problems and the employees are so nice. Before my parents passed, two years ago, they also used Key Bank for 21 years, and both Maple Valley branches for almost 16 years. They, too, were very happy with the bank--that is why I switched to them when I did.

Truly unfortunate that Keybank has a policy that they will not serve a customer to provide change unless they have an account number available. The worst part about this experience is that the teller couldn't even apologize for being unable to help a customer who has spent the time to walk through their doors. While I understand businesses have policies they have to abide by it is truly poor service to not offer an apology when those policies prevent service. As a manager of a service oriented business, I know that an apology can go a long way in bringing customers back even when the customer could be wrong. Doesn't even deserve one star.

All in all the people are very kind! But I am very stress out about how they close at 5, mostly ever day. People (including I) with full a time job don't get off till around 4:30 giving us NO TIME to even go to the bank. So thinking about it, they must be having a pretty slow day since most people are at work. Thanks key bank for the inconvenience.

I've been banking with this Maple Valley branch since they opened. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and always have a smile on their faces. If there are any problems or issues with an account they can't fix from their branch, they go all out to make sure they get answers, and fix it. Can't say enough great things about the staff, and manager at this Keybank branch. Thanks for your service.

My experience with Key Bank is rather negative. They promised $100 for opening an account with them. They did not deliver. They completely wasted my time. After leaving a rather large sum of money with them for over 14 months, I ended up with no interest, and failure to deliver on promises. The people at the Key Bank in Maple Valley are nice. I have no complaint with them specifically. Rather, I see that Key Bank has a system that encourages their employees to fail to deliver. One employee explained to me that at any one time, an employee has to keep track of over 40 special offers. Over an entire year, an employee will need to keep track of over 250 offers. It is a small wonder that the employee that opened my account made some mistakes and provided bad information. The employee that setup my account explained to my that I should expect to see my $100 dividend after 6 months. After my dividend did not show up, the manager at the branch explained to me that the employee failed to fill out a form correctly. I had 30 days to protest the issue. Since I did not meet their timelines, they would not fulfill their obligation. Then the manager proceeded to try to up sell me on other product offerings. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The last time I was treated like this was at a used car dealership. Totally disgusting. If you log into their web site, you will be bombarded with special offers. Navigating through all the offers adds complexity to the experience. Effectively, increasing the chance for mistakes of an employee or a customer. Ultimately, Key Bank is a good choice for people that have the time to verify that the Key Bank employees are not making mistakes. You will need to check on them every 60 days. If you do not have that type of time, you should choose a banking solution that offers simpler solutions. KISS (Keep it simple stupid).
