It says open 24 hours but 20 minutes out of my way to get here and they're closed. This was a huge waste of My Time and gas

The produce and meats are high quality and fresh. The store is very clean and the parking lot is convenient. Staff are always very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have.

Big store. 1st time in here. I see a lot of homeless coming in and hanging around. A lot of them using the restroom as bathing. Restroom are filly. I live in Kent and was just passing thru when I saw this store. Lots of cashiers open too.

I really liked Safeway but experience today will send me shopping somewhere else. I spend roughly $300 a week here on groceries. I needed to return 3 items today that I had no need for so I brought them with me. I did not have the receipt but figured no big deal as long as I have the card it was bought with it won't be a problem. Well I was wrong. I was told because it was such a high amount ($28 total) I needed a receipt. I asked if I could just use the card the items were purchased with and was told their system wasn't that smart. The dollar tree has a smarter system apparently then Safeway. I asked for store credit then and was denied and told if I didn't have the receipt there was nothing they could do. It's the little things like this that will make me now take my $300 a week over to Fred Meyer. I guess Safeway needed that $28 more than me. So long Safeway. Maybe upgrade your system. It's not 1992 anymore.

Not a bad selection. But it is small and limited. This also reduces the opportunities for savings because there aren't enough choices for them to have sale prices. This review is for liquor and not the store.

Low stock of items, meager selection and you're hosed if your chip in your credit card doesn't work because they won't type in your number. Mine will swipe anywhere else but here. And their response was "sorry, hopefully you have other payment since you're not getting your food to make dinner".

The most infuriating grocery store experience I've ever had. My boyfriend and I each had 3 items so we went to self checkout. The machines weren't working and the lady supervising self checkout wouldn't come help us, but when she did she blamed me and told me my card must be getting rejected... as two other people were having the same issue. We retried a couple of times and eventually got so annoyed by her lack of help that we just went to a check out lane. This was equally, if not more, frustrating. The girl in front of us took near 10 minutes to check out. Rather than seeing us with our 3 items each, the ~6 employees just stood around. Only by the time the girl finished checking out and it was our turn did they open the next lane over for the girl BEHIND us. I got through okay but my boyfriend had similar issues to what we dealt with at self check out. After attempting to pay 3-4 times they moved him to a different lane... still got rejected. The guy then blamed my BOYFRIEND saying his card wasn't working. Took us 20 minutes to get checked out at 8 PM (meaning, there's no people and it definitely shouldn't have taken that long) with only 6 items. Astounding customer service, really.

They have a mask mandate, however, every time I've gone to this location, some of the employees aren't wearing their mask. Coughing, sneezing. Apparently they don't believe in science. I'd avoid this location like your life depends on it because it just might.

Disgusting employees who not only don’t wear masks when it is a statewide requirement, the least time I was here I saw one wiping their nose and continuing on with their work.

Special shout out to the ladies at the Starbucks stand in Safeway, especially Kelly and Savannah! I go there mostly every morning since I work on the same strip. They are ALWAYS so kind, welcoming and super friendly. At this point they know me by name and my usual order. Thank you for brightening up my morning! Always a pleasure to go there.

The groceries and non-food items are overpriced. Occasionally their sales good. Floral- Their floral department shines; they always have attractive arrangements to choose from. The loose roses and assorted eucalyptus are competively priced and the most beautiful in town. This August, I repeatedly checked flowers at Buds & Blooms, Fred Meyer and Safeway for my son's wedding reception. Safeway had the most vibrant colors and freshest blooms. I created a centerpiece that received many compliments. As beautiful as the roses were, I think it was the large eucalyptus that made it. So I went back for more, dried them and used them around my house. They are still lovely, months later.
