I had visited here to get a balayage right before prom, the lady doing my hair told be that going blonde would not be a problem when I asked and she also suggested it. After she was done, it did not match or blend well with my features, she agreed to fix it and I could come the next day. The next day it was more blended and I asked if I needed to use any products to help maintain my hair to keep them healthy, the feedback wasn’t helpful and she didn’t suggest any products. Later on, I could not shampoo or brush through my hair and my scalp started showing some bald spots because of extreme fallout. My point is that when I had asked if blonde would be okay for me and asked for tips on maintaining my hair, they should have done a better job. They could have conducted a strand test to check how my hair reacted, because clearly my hair became extremely unhealthy.

I just had my first appointment with Alex and I am blown away!
She foiled my hair perfectly — the color vibrant and has added so much more depth and shine to my hair!
She took the time to ask great questions to find out exactly what I was looking for. Alex explained the process, and made me feel completely at ease. On top of her skill, she’s so friendly and easy to talk to that the time flew by. I left the salon feeling fresh, confident, and already looking forward to booking my next visit. Highly recommend!

I was really struggling with my hair, to the point where I didn’t even want to look at it. After my appointment with Alex I am so happy and confident, and I got compliments all day long from family and friends when they saw me again. She is very knowledgeable and listened to me to give me just what I needed to reach my hair goals. I can’t wait for my next appointment with her.

I have never in my life found a stylist who has been able to cut my hair exactly the way I want it but Elyze was able to and went way above and beyond anything I expected. I will definitely come back to see her. She was so great.

This place is awesome! Our stylist was Alex, she’s amazing. She’s really good at what she does and answered all our questions. She was super gentle with our hair, too. The salon uses great, high-quality products, and the prices aren’t too expensive. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for teens!

Vicki did such an amazing job with my hair! I came in with blonde hair that was pretty grown out, and pink that faded out of my hair. She gave me the most beautiful color. I live in Tacoma, but will be making the commute to maple valley when I need my hair done again.
