I had scheduled my dog grooming appointment a week and a half ago for today 11/21 at 5:30pm. This morning I received a text message with terrible grammar asking for me to come in earlier around 2pm to ensure proper time to groom my dog. I let them know I can not make it at 2 but can be there at 4:30pm. We agreed. I went to the Lake Stevens Petco where they informed me that my appointment was at the Smokey point location. I immediately called and texted Petco and told them what had happened. The employee at Petco then responded and said, "if you're late we will need to reschedule." I let them know I left work an hour early to beat traffic and will be there at 4:45 and all I received back was "4:45-reschedule". There was no empathy towards me or my time. I highly suggest petco to retrain their employees and teach them how to properly treat their customers with empathy, compassion and WAY better communication. I told them I would like to cancel and will go somewhere else and did not get a response trying to save my appointment or confirming the cancelation. HIGHLY dissatisfied with my experience today and will not be returning to Petco because of this.

Specifically regarding the grooming salon: We LOVE grooming day with Dani!! She is so phenomenal with our dog, she's always so cheery and gives him soooo much love. He was extra dirty this trip since he had just spent 4 days playing in the ocean. Highly recommend requesting her for grooms and never have any hesitation when I leave him in her care. Cooper approves!

Manager "Archie" is rude, condescending and dismissive. She feels that having dog training mere inches from the adoptive cat-kennels is appropriate. Additionally, adoptive cats can then only be viewed when dog training is not in-session. Obviously she doesn't know much about cats because she claims loud barking next to their faces has no effect on them. Perhaps her position is not well suited to her unique "talents."

I woke up this morning to find that my beta fish was dead in it's new 3 gallon tank. This was one of three betas that I bought for my two daughters and I as a way to add some life to our home after the death of my wife, their mother. Unfortunately, with the death of my fish, when my daughter went to return the fish for possibly another one, Adam, the store employee was horribly rude and inconsiderate by taking the fish and dumping it in the trash right in front of her.You cannot presume to know what others are going through, so I suggest that Petco train their associates to be more helpful and show a little bit more compassion. My daughter returned home upset which is the complete opposite of what the fish experience was supposed to be. Adam could have been the reason she came home with a smile instead . Needless to say we will not be returning there, but make the trip to Petsmart instead. On a side note all the tanks of fish had at least one dead fish in them which cannot be healthy.

Took my 59 lb. dog to the Petco in Smoky Point for a nail trim, and was amazed that Asia was able to trim the dog's nails by herself. This has always been a 2-person job-- others have tried and given up (imagine trimming a Bucking Bronco's hooves). I want to commend Asia on her patience and perseverance; she spoke to my dog the entire time, praising her and reassuring her. I highly recommend Asia, as she goes well beyond the call of duty!

Ordered dog food online for pickup and used my free dog food coupon for buying my 7th bag. My daughter went to get my items and they tell me the dog food is out of stock. This is the second time in a row this happened. Not only is my coupon not working now because technically I already used it, but I loose my 10% off for coming into the store and not using curbside. I call the manager and he is struggling to handle my call and absolutely doesn't care. He puts me on hold without my knowledge. I call back and a lady apologizes for his actions and then I hear music again. On hold again without a warning. She never came back to assist me, closed the store, and I paid for an item I never got. I called customer service and they fixed the store's mess, but it was the lack of respect that has me never going back.

Grooming department you need to book with josh he's super friendly very personable and has my baby girl smelling soo good almost lost hope in this place I have to say definitely gave my 2 star experience and turn it into a 5 star review :) also new manager who I must say is absolutely top notch caring dude!!! Great job team

I had 2 appointments for grooming today, Christmas eve. I had both dogs ,1 pitbull, and 1 little white mutt. I brought the little one in and they told me that Kong the little one was too old to be groomed. He (Kayden grooming manager) that the groomer before should have told me that he could not be groomed anymore, because of his age. No told me that. But still he said that he can't do anything because it was a liability. I went to the manager for the 2cd time because of this employee, she said that they would hate to kill my dog, and again a liability. I left sobbing. The 1st run in with grooming manager, I left my pit for nail clipping. I was gone for about half an hour. Kayden with 2 other employees were sitting on the table holding my dog. He was so rude. He said I wasted his time because I didn't come back sooner. RIDICULOUS give the dog to another groomer to hold on to if he was so busy. There were 2 other groomers sitting with him. NEVER GO TO PETCO GROOMING! BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU WORK WITH KAYDEN THE GROOMING MGR.

I am thoroughly upset that Petco groomers REFUSED to wash my dog. I've taken him there for 4 years and he is the same as he always had been. They said he was limping... DUH... He has always limped. I've got another dog, a puppy, and now they have lost 2 dogs to the groomers. What a joke.

I was a regular enjoyed coming on Thursdays to checkout there shipment of fish. Anthony used to order whatever Saltwater I wanted. Not anymore they don't do requests anymore and your going to spend hours waiting for fish because they have one person there that's not friendly, it's ridiculous. Oh yeah don't try to return any freshwater fish, they won't except them.

I was petco's regular customer, i have so pets at home, four days ago at morning time i was there to return my dead angel fishes, and lady who was working in that department interrogate me like i killed those fishes purposely. Very very rude service, petco u sold me or other people infected fishes, like they have sickness of ich and fin root, what can i sy about u, u guys r selling sick fishes and ur peole begaved like sheriff. People's if u want to buy fihes buy fro that store who quartine fishes.

I loooove this Petco. The fish department is huge! I know this store used to have bad rap, but I think it's under new management. I went in to get some fish while my girlfriend dropped her dog off in grooming and the lady with the short hair that helped me was so helpful. The store seems pretty clean too. I forgot to mention how much I appreciate that all their employees were wearing their mask and and wiping down things.
