This grocery store was chaos with people wandering all around the parking lot. Seemed short handed, and even the workers there repairing something were asking each other to watch their tools so they didn’t get stolen. Not nice, didn’t feel very safe either with homeless and drug use close by. Too bad, not a nice part of town. I don’t think this is really the stores fault, it’s just rough.

Produce section has really turned into bottom barrel standards. Moldy produce, welted lettuce, rotten dirty produce. It’s a shame.

Great customer service but what was supposed to be New York steaks came out looking like chicken/pork after I cooked it I will never buy meat here again. Buyers beware!!!

I have stopped going to Safeway as often as I did because there are never, ever, any carts or baskets in sight. I went there today, but as usual, no carts or baskets were anywhere to be seen. Albertson's is now my store of choice.

It's a great little store, well it's not little but, if you see somebody stealing the grocery card of food you go inside and tell them and they have a little machine they can hit the button and stop the cart from rolling

Went to Safeways today. Nobody in the meat department. Not one single cashier. No carts. I never go to the store because of their prices but now you can't even find a cashier. Horrible experience, especially if you're an adult with disability or anybody with a disability.

Fast, Professional and Clean. They got eggs! Great Service and Now Accepts OTC United Healthcare Cards for Fresh Foods! The Safeway on State Street is simply the best for food and service. Love the Employees. ❤ Still the Best 2023 (One Long term Employee over 20 years always gives our son a hug. She loves him and we love her!) Also the points System that you get when you shop is sweet. We saved 80cents a Gallon the other day! Update: Safeway still has the best ingredients at a fair price and friendly service.

Update: They took no actions and never gave me a refund or replacement.
I went here last night and purchased some milks. I drank 1/2 of it without looking and my stomach and head started hurting but I figured it was just something else. Then tonight I went to drink the rest and noticed they expired in Oct of 2023, it is February of 2024. I told staff there is more on the floor and they are also likely expired to which they replied “okay.” The person in the phone didn’t listen enough to understand what I was saying, I said it was the milk on the shelves that are a single serving, not in dairy. They proceeded to say they’re going to talk to dairy about it and offered me a quart of milk in exchange for the bad “gallon”. The brand is “Horizon Organic: Strawberry Organic LowFat Milk” please be careful what you buy and look at the expiration date. ?
