I don't know what other grocery stores are available in this area. I honestly sought out a grocery store in order to find a bathroom! --They do have one of those and it's open during the day (there was a sign that stated it would be closed through the night). The store did not feel like it was in a "good part of town"-- and it's definitely not fancy or new, by any means. However, I was able to find a few snacks and drinks to buy because it was laid-out the way most Safeway stores are, and I certainly never felt like it was unsanitary or unsafe. I arrived at the back of the self-checkout line at the exact time as another customer-- he waved me in front of him, which was kind and polite. If I ever need a snack or bathroom in Marysville again, I have no reason not to stop here.

Kinda pissed if I'm being honest, I came here to get flowers for my mom and gave the girl 3 bouquets to put together, she basically yanked all the leaves out and broke a few roses, I don't know what to do, almost paid $50 for this shity service

I ordered a delivery order. When it was received it was damaged and I advised the delivery driver to return this as I wasn't going to accept the box. Since this I have called customer service 6 times and I have had 2 online chats, and a representative called and left a message with no follow-up. With all this all I receive is promises that I will receive the refund, however no refund so far. I am polite and I always wait the 3-5 days that they always promise before I call again. I consistently get the reference numbers. Not that that matters because it is like starting over with each new person. This last person stated the word "promise" that my refund will be returned to me within 3-5 days. Today is day 6 and guess what no money. Just remember they can prosecute theft but what happens when they cannot return my money?? Nothing but another headache and more time of my life I can never get back. Will never order online again. Rethinking the store visits as well.

If I could leave a zero star review of this location, I would. The staff are extremely rude; it's like Safeway took all the worst employees and shoved them in the same store. Lets start with the ""Customer service"" desk, which is always empty and when it is manned, the employee acts like your very existence is an affront to humanity. It's either a great irony or a practical joke that the only people who work the customer service desk are the least likeable people on Earth and act like you're putting them out by being there. If you don't like the job, find a different one! Thing is, the rest of the staff act the same way and I know this isn't the same across all Safeway's as I've been to other locations and it's not like this... don't know who's managing this location, but they need to be fired, shot, or forced to scrub the toilets 'cause they can't hire for S***.

The customer service at this safeway is questionable the lady that works at the self checkout I witnessed her bullying minors and assuming things instead of asking questions to make sure she was right. From what I witnessed the way she spoke to and treated the minors was not ok someone like this should not b working at a family store. Also when I needed help with the cash back option her response to me is why don't I just use the ATM. She seemed very angry not family friendly just for having to do her job and help a customer.

My son went to Safeway to get us some FRESH donuts. Well they were cold and thawing out. They were so dry they were uneatable. What a sham...that is so unacceptable.

I hate it here. Exploited workers, expensive garbage, no checkout lanes open at 5pm only the "do-it-yourself sucker" kiosk. Seriously, if the c-suite wasn't busy lining their pockets while busting union efforts, they'd personal come into the store to let us know they hate consumers. I wish there was employee owned Winco closer

This store was disappointing. The mens rest room a sign of old dirty tile that needs to be cleaned. When I saw s garbage can blocking one of the doors to go in/out on BOTH sides of the door, I felt laziness in proper repairs without instructions to direct why the door was not accessible.It was probably a great Safeway 20 or 30 year ago, bit looks dated and cluttered.

I have shopped at Safeway for many years. I've always appreciated the products they stock, great produce, and the best meat department. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness almost has me going elsewhere. It just seems like there is no pride. Broken/inoperable doors, cracked floor tiles, dirty building and floors, and most carts out in the parking lot or down the street or in the woods. When I visit a Hagens store or Albertsons, the impression is so much different. Time for Safewat execs to visit stores and bring back the days where cleanliness matters. Appearance matters. If you look like you know what you're doing and show that you care about your business, business will improve.

DECEPTIVE PRICING/PRODUCT PLACEMENT. Digital sale for family pack ribeys & NY strip. Read coupon details very thoroughly before goin. Got to store, sale cooler had L-R, short ribs, burger, Xtra thick ribeye FP, NY strip FP and then picked through NY & Thin cut ribey FP mixed. Large sale signs above each product until you get to end with steaks. Large sale sign 6.77/lb and small, almost unnoticeable sign for diff price on thin cut. Again, DIGITAL COUPON DETAILS DID NOT specify size of cut or how many in the family pack. Both products labeled exactly same except lb price & yellow member pricing. Even had very similar weight. Got to register and paid $9.99/lb for an items I was sure I verified to be $6.77/lb. Store was very busy so waited till I was in my vehicle to question it and inspect my reciept. Sure enough !! Called the meat dept and got told ONLY 3 PACK THICK CUT WAS ON SALE, NOT 4 PACK THIN CUT. Wait !! What ?????????? Exact same product and packaging. EXACT....Except thickness & number of steaks. And only one half size sign at the store to specify a difference. Asked for dept manager and suggested they separate such items better to avoid confusion because AT NO TIME PRIOR TO PURCHASE WAS I AWARE OF THIS MINOR DETAIL and did not notice a separate sign despite a minimum of 4 minutes looking through the packages. He was rude, and defensive saying he would be happy to show me the sign I did not notice, then justified it all and ended his explanation by saying that "he's been with them for 20 years and they aren't gunna change a thing ". IN MY OPINION THIS IS INTENTIONAL DECEPTION TO SELL A MORE EXSPENSIVE PRODUCT. So he's been ripping off fixed income and strict budget shoppers for 20 years ?It would not have been any more difficult to put thin cut on one side of cooler and sale cuts on other with diff meats in between. We're talkin a matter of 3 ft in the same cooler. That sign would certainly have gotten seen had this been the case. THIS IS AT LEAST THE 4TH TIME I HAVE CAUGHT THIS STORE DOING THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT PLACEMENT AND PRICING. I wonder how many times I did not catch it.SHAME ON YOU SAFEWAY !!

Parking lot is filthy, which seems odd, since the store is so poorly stocked one would think they would have the time to at least take care of the literal mounds of trash. Customer service, as well, leaves a person wanting. Regularly followed by staff (can anyone say profiling?) Very often left waiting to be helped at checkout. And more than once been incorrectly charged for clearance items. Even with asking specifically for the item to be rang up correctly. Literally the worst shopping experience I've had in years.
