“Skilled and friendly professionals!ABT transported my Sea Ray 280 Sundancer from Lake Erie to Vallejo, CA. In March 2024. The trip highlights three reasons why ABT was the correct choice.First, ABT was the easiest and most straightforward of all companies interviewed. Critically, ABT is an employer - not a broker. For a plethora of reasons, one should choose a employer or owner/operator. In the case of ABT, simple E-mails with standard practices and terms governed the transaction. The contrast to all other companies was stark.Second, ABT showed up within the agreed pickup window. An inspection of their equipment showed it to be of good quality and well maintained.Finally, their employees go above and beyond. For instance, their employer driver “Mike” is a tremendous professional. Not only is Mike a professional driver, he is a boat owner/advocate. After Mike made sure the boat was loaded and secured properly, the 2400 mile trip began. I roughly followed the same route as Mike but did not shadow him. A 2400 mile trip always has issues - in this case not of ABT’s making. For instance, the marina in Ohio made many drastic errors like incomplete zebra muscle mitigation, poor servicing, etc. Mike handled all these issues effectively and without complaint. He added great value past the difficult driving. I also had the opportunity to meet three other employees of ABT on the 2400 mile trip. They were equally helpful and friendly. Each employee is as impressive as Mike. My experience indicates that ABT has employee’s that are professional, reliable, and helpful.For the above reasons, please favorably consider ABT for your boat transport needs.”
