I recently had a really awful experience at customer service at the Tulalip Walmart. I went to exchange a Christmas present with a receipt for the same item, different size. I was told very rudely by the lady at customer service they don't do exchanges. I would have to return the item which i had bought on sale and purchase it at full retail price. She told me this is Walmarts policy. No where is that stated. The policy clearly posted states that you may return or exchange for similar item . So I ask for a manager because that make zero sense to me. The front end supervisor Jonathan came to assist and very rudely asked what my problem was... not how can I help. I explained what I wanted to do and he stated the policy has changed a YEAR AGO very rudely and was very unprofessional. I looked online as they told me and no where is it stated that walmart does not do exchanges. So clearly they need to update the policy signs in store if this is the case and do some customer service training with there associates. I work in customer service and would not speak to a customer that way. So from now on Ill make purchase elsewhere since I can not exchange. I'm pretty certain that's about the only retail store that wouldn't allow exchanges with a receipt.. I am a rule follower, so If it was posted in store or online... It would not be a issue. But the poor customer service and the lack of clarity of the procedure makes for a very frustrating experience that didn't need to happen.

Please give Sherrie a raise! Came in day after Christmas to check out the sales, as I always do.... Went to checkout in the 12 item or less line ... 1) so happy to see Walmart hiring older employees because they are by far more reliable 2) Sherrie was just a joy and delightful! Great sense of humor! 3) I hope she gets a raise soon! Employees like her are an asset to Walmart 100 percent! Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

This is a review on the store itself AND the customers. 1. People for the love of God. DO go out of your way to return carts. The cart bays are not at all full. I'm sitting next to one right now that isn't full at all, yet I drove by about 12 carts that customers just propped up onto a curb with the front wheels. Really? C'mon! Be the person that does the nice thing. Get in some good in the world! 2. Might want to revisit the cell phone usage while on the clock doing the job guidelines. I've seen multiple workers on multiple days out here talking on phones while bringing in carts then stopping and talking for a bit.

Did the pick up option a small-medium sized order (no large items or anything). Waited over 45 minutes for the order to come out after I arrived (which was about an hour after it was available). This was after calling around the half hour mark and being told it would be right out. Lots of people got their stuff, all of whom waited 5-10 minutes. No explanation as to why my order took so long to come out. The kid who brought it out was nice though.

Walmart located at HWY & 64th in Marysville, WA. Told I had the job of the employees. I purchased an item on clearance with the understanding if it was something I could fix, I would return it; even purchased the customer care plan (among other things). Got the item home. Understood why the item was on clearance. Decided to return it the NEXT day. Went in just before 10 a.m. without the receipt, but the receipt was in the car I drove that the hubby had. No worries. I have the card I used. Went to CS for a refund. She said the item could not be found. I was shocked. I just purchased it last night. Nope, not on the receipt. Okay. I will return later with the receipt. Hubby wasn't home, but I decided to print out the statement showing my purchase, with two other things I had purchased as well. On my way back to the store, hubby drove up, so I grabbed the receipt, verified the item was on the receipt, then headed back to the store. The same person in the CS dept that helped me earlier. She gave me a look like, "Here she comes again." I put the item, the two other items, and my statement on the counter and asked if she could try to find the items with the other items I had purchased. Still, No. It's not there. Think about that. Then I handed her the receipt. I showed her the two items I purchased and the item itself. The description of the item and the before and after clearance price were indicated on the receipt. She said, No. That's not it. She then removed the yellow bar code that was across the item's bar on the package and put it on top of the package, where the rest of the yellow sticker was showing the discounted amount (that was also indicated on the receipt). She proceeded to show me that the numbers didn't match. I told her it was the same item, maybe it was the other bar code on the package. She tried that and Yelp. It was the right item. Now, I'm thinking the reason why an employee put the yellow clearance bar code on the packaging was to block the original bar code from being scanned. Well, it didn't work in this case. Nor was this CS employee resourceful enough to think, in both cases, maybe the scanner scanned the original code. She proceeded to tell me that next time I purchase a Clearance item, I need to take my finger and cover up the original bar code. What? I said, how about the next time if I have problems returning the item like I did today, I tell the CS employee to try both bar codes, right? I'm not the one that does this job every day. If that wasn't bad. I should have just left, but told my son I would get him something. On my way to the location I thought it was in, I asked an employee if I was going in the right direction. She said, "I don't know. I just go where this thing (she held up her product tool) tells me to go. This was sad, because I know that employee has been working there for more than three years, yet should could not point me into the right direction. How sad? I think my visits to this Walmart will be fewer. Ugh.

Store is filthy, every employee I've encountered in the past six months is just rude and lacking basic customer service skills. They act like they are so inconvenienced when you ask them literally any type of question or for help with something which is odd because they don't do anything but stand around talking to each other anyway while we check out our own things at the registers. I think they have maybe 4-5 actual registers with a cashier at them. The employees are just rude, one of them when my husband asked what button to push on the card machine asked him "what are you doing right now?" My husband said "purchasing" and she said "well I guess you would push the purchase button then"..... like just super rude and it's like this with every employee. And forget talking to customer service because they're just as bad. It sucks because this Walmart is the closest store to my house and I've spent a lot of my money there but I'm just gonna have to drive the couple extra miles to Fred Meyer from now on. I'd way rather deal with people who aren't just disrespectful for literally no reason than leave this Walmart again having a conversation with my husband about how rude or uneducated an employee was. One employee didn't even know if there was still a rule on formula and how many cans you can buy so we grabbed ten and the lady who checked us out at the register saw me load up all ten cans and then after the fifth can her screen said there was a limit of five, which was fine, but we asked if we could do a second transaction for the other five and she said no. Like, how do you know I can't do two transactions if you didn't even know there was a five can limit to begin with? Just super ignorant, arrogant people working in customer service that should not be. I will not be shopping at this location any more.

Clean the bathrooms!! Why do all Walmarts have to have nasty bathrooms my 12 year old daughter told me she went in and didn't want to use the restroom because it was filthy!! I told a worker and I think she radioed someone but damn why do I have to tell her! It seems to me that cleanest Walmarts are in the southern states! This one is much better than the one in Everett which I'll never go to! Check the restrooms!!!

Walmart is an awful institution and a terrible place to shop. Food is found open, dirty packaging, ignorant and uphelpful staff. They'd probably work more if Walmart actually paid them a living wage though. Zero cashiers mid day, peak shopping times. Walmart is completely and utterly mismanaged and run. This one is no exception. How can you seriously call yourself a leader in shopping and not even have mobile pay options. What a joke. Never come here.

I've bought a few items at this particular Walmart mostly lawn and garden plants and materials. They are one of the few grocery stores around that actually carry the healthy cereal that I like which is called Total. Most grocery stores don't carry it because it has zero sugar and kids don't wanna eat it it's a healthy adult cereal. I recently bought six large bags of potting soil that were close to half the price as white Lowe's and Home Depot was charging for the same item. The store always looks clean lots of parking I don't really grocery shop here other than a rare occasion of grabbing something that I need. Not sure why others are rating this store so low consistently?

I hate this Walmart. It's right next to my house too so super convenient but I don't even bother because they never have ANYTHING! Never any fresh fruits or veggies. Doesn't matter what season or time of day. They just never have anything. So don't bother.

I had to utilize contactless delivery options today between 7-8pm. After my store pickup order I decided to sign up for Walmart+ service based on the checkout prompt. I met the criteria to extend the 15 day free to the 30 day trial service. There were some additional items needed later in the afternoon after I signed up and checked out. I decided to use express pickup delivery ($10.00 surcharge) since I'm now a "+" member and was quoted a delivery time of by 7:49pm. I called the store and spoke with an associate to see if they could be combined into the delivery order and was informed they could not. It's not a huge deal but it will influence my decision of the value of keeping the service. I've been shopping at smaller stores lately because I don't like having to trek through Walmart basic grocery needs. This would have a been a great opportunity for Walmart to win back my business.

Make sure you're dressed like you have money when you shop at Walmart! My fiance and I did our weekly shopping today. We both had to work a few hours this morning so of course we were in work clothes. We usually spend between 200 and 300 hundred dollars a week having 2 teenage boys. We did our shopping and then waited in a checkout line for what seemed like forever and decided to go to self check. The attendant in self check seemed to be helpful at first but then commented on everything in our cart and watched us like a hawk. Didn't give us 6 feet in distance. Acted as if we were trying to steal something. I won't even tell you our household income because it doesn't matter. What I can tell you is we don't need to steal or would ever think to! We were profiled for being in work clothes and buying more than out work clothes could afford! Absolutely insulting! Just a suggestion... watch the ones that look like THEY can't afford the clothes they're wearing.
