They took my cat same day during an emergency. I was expecting to spend a lot for my cat's treatment due to the quick response, but was pleasantly surprised. They took great care of him and didn't rob me blind. I will drive the 30 minutes every time to see these awesome people.

They are the best! I will never go to another vet! Dr. Wood she did a great job with all my dogs. I have 4 dogs and she has help me thru everything with them. The staff is Friendly and great customer service. They are not very expensive like other veterinarian places. She just recently took care of my beau beau and his infection!

They took great care of my dog and were able to answer all my questions. If you have any questions the website is straightforward and easy to understand, mobile too. If you need urgent service, please call them first before making the trip to ensure vet availability.

1. Neither the vet tech nor the vet seemed to know what a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) means.2. The dental for my cat was very expensive. I expect to pay for service and I expect to pay more for extractions but their BASE cost was only slightly less than I what paid IN TOTAL for 7 extractions at my previous vet (his wait list is too long) for my Mom's cat. I will not be returning to this practice.

We cannot give Mt Spokane veterinary a good review or recommend as they are not truly compassionate about your animals and only in it for the big buck$. I could go into great detail about our situation only to have staff reply with excuses. So if you’re reading reviews before taking your beloved animals here please check into other veterinarians and go with your gut feeling.

I’ve been coming here for for a few years for regular check up visits. But the one time I’m calling with a sick animal and am asking for an emergency spot I just get told “We’re at capacity today” and that was it. The receptionist didn’t say anything else, didn’t ask what was wrong. After what felt like an eternity of silence I asked what my other options were and was told “You can try somewhere else” and when I asked for suggestions was told “Theres some places in Idaho”. I picked this place because I thought they could care for all my animals including exotics, but I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of empathy I was shown while having an emergency. After spending all morning on the phone and online I finally found somewhere that I can take my animal. Mt. Spokane Animal Hospital showed me they don’t care about my animals and I will be finding a new vet.

I’ve brought my Guinea pigs and rabbits here in the past. All four of them have gone through anesthesia and surgeries of various types and they’ve always seem to do great during their recoveries.

When I call, I get, "Hello, what did your pup eat now?" I feel like it is a testament to how much care and attention the staff and doctors put into their clients and critters. They get to know you and are passionate about their work. Most importantly, the doctors typically shy away from a magnitude of tests that are costly and no true value in their diagnosis. Mentally and financially, I appreciate that. Our animals have been in for everything since they were puppies, regular visits, vaccinations, injuries, excessive stress/anxiety; and if you didn't pick up from the opening statement, intestine issues from eating random things on the farm. We have been going for years and will continue to be life long clients.

We took our bearded dragon in for possible impaction. Initially there was confusion about a drop off and waiting to see the vet and ended up waiting in the room for half hour for no reason since it was just a drop off. That’s fine, no big deal. The staff are really courteous and nice for sure. We were told that they had the proper set up for him. The lights and specifically about a heating system for him. We’re dropped him off about 11am and got him about 2:30 pm and once we got him I took him out of his cage in the parking lot and he was literally an ice cube. They hadn’t used ANY source of heat for him. I cannot express how cold that lizard was. We paid a $117 deposit before bringing him in and needed up paying another $70 upon pick up. It just doesn’t sit right with me to pay for my pet to be taken care of properly and have that not be done. There were a couple other things that aren’t important and are understandable but also added to the choice of not returning there. Getting pets name wrong even after being corrected, being forgotten about in the room, I checked on the form to call before any procedure to verify it was okay and they never called before doing anything to him, he was put inside his carrier with it upside down and you, he’s was a ice cube.UPDATE: our dragon had possible impaction but was still very much active and alert. He wasn’t in a critical care unit. If what he was housed in actually had a heating source id suggest checking to make sure the unit works because i wouldn’t complain or do this if he was properly cared for. He was literally the coldest I’ve ever felt him and it was very clear there was no heat to him at all. I’m not asking for a refund from you or anything, im just never returning there or recommending to anyone.

My wife and I found a baby rabbit that was injured on the street. After calling around to many vet offices we found this amazing center that helped us get the rabbit help. They were very friendly and the only thing I could ask is that they were closer to home!We will definitely contact them again should the need arise, 10 out of 5 stars if I could.Thank you Mt Spokane Veterinary Hospital!
