I personally prefer Safeway over other stores. Their fresh fruit and produce are on point. The staff there are professional and friendly.

Zero communication skills from management, revolving doors as an employee. They could care less about a worker's health and scheduling issues, they throw you to the wolves with zero training. And expect perfect attendance when you're not even sure if the schedule is correct. Prehistoric way of running a retail store.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my child's party from Safeway bakery , Millcreek expecting a beautifully crafted cake for our celebration with 60 guests. However, when I went to pick it up, I was shocked and extremely disappointed to find out that the bakery had forgotten to make the cake. This was a major inconvenience and embarrassment as we had no cake for the party.Even though the cake they gave for free which doesn’t have any good taste and there is not options of readymade cake to replace their mistake so just last minutes we have been forced to compromise the cake they have .
What's more frustrating is that this is the second time Safeway bakery Millcreek has made this mistake. A similar incident happened with my brother-in-law's child's birthday party, causing a similar mess and disappointment.
I had hoped this was a one-off mistake, but it seems to be a recurring issue. Such unprofessionalism and lack of reliability are unacceptable, especially for important events like children's birthday parties. I strongly advise against using Safeway bakery , millcreek for any special occasions.

As expensive as Whole Foods or Town & country, but with lower quality and poorer selection. Even when you go through the hassle of using their coupon app, it’s not worth it. Used to be good but no longer.

Had a terrible experience today with theri advertising. So many items in sale but isn't in the system. Store mark downs deals had to get manager override, coupon $ lower, digital coupons not honored. Had I not caught these with photos of displays, I would have paid over $25 more. It adds up over each weekly trip. The fun continues to hold corporations responsable.

Like the mill creek Safeway better then the one right down the street by my house but they need more then 1 cashier. When using the Safeway app it says what I know the product is on but none of the items that I wanted on my clip was on any of the aisles that the app set that's frustrating

A man in the meat department chopped up chicken for me when there was NO PULLED CHICKEN in the deli one day.
A woman next to him was a bit rude to me and snubbed me to address the needs of a different customer, she used to be the cleaning, custodial worker, got promoted to MEAT.
